“This adventure was a blast and skillfully done. Staff knew what they were doing and could answer questions if needed. The river ride was an adventure and we felt safe the whole time. And we were able to still get our photos after a year had passed! We would definitely do this again if we come this way and recommend to anyone. Very professional. Thank you!”

“We stayed here in June 2023 and the cabin was rustic but super clean and the beds were super soft and comfy. I would highly recommend staying here, prices are completive and the scenery is awesome. And everyone at the trading post was super friendly. The only minor thing I could find was pulling the boat up to the cabin was a little tight but we got it done. I will defiantly always stay here in the future great place !!!!Rooms: we had a full size fridge with a kitchen and cooking utensils. The beds were soft and super comfortable and the cabin was rustic but clean and really a neat little cabin. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!Nearby activities: great fishing at Taylor Reservoir and Taylor River, endless trails and tons of scenic views.Safety: They have a lot of utvs ,atvs and motorcycles, running in at out of there. They have a 5mph speed limit through the area and seems to be enforced cause everyone keeps them slowed down, through the trading post and cabin areas.”

“Stayed here for two nights. Hot tub was broken the entire time and front desk was a joke with any sort of help. We were needing to extend our stay for one night and they tried hiking our price up from $100 per night to $190 for the additional night as well as moving us to a single bed room when we were in a double queen room. We decided to move to a different hotel instead of letting them price gouge us. Hotel was pretty grubby as well. Much better places to stay in Gunnison than here.”
