The Safeway at 1200 S Buckley Rd in Aurora offers a convenient grocery experience with a wide selection. The store features a bakery with customizable cakes, a deli with made-to-order items and party trays, and a butchers block with an assortment of meat and seafood. The produce department is noted for its fresh fruits and vegetables, described as much nicer than other chains. The pharmacy is fairly nice with quick turnaround, and services like Order Ahead pick-up, Grocery Delivery, and DriveUp & Go™ are available to save time. The store is generally calm and clean, with employees described as helpful and friendly. However, the checkout experience can vary, with sometimes only one cashier open—though they are fast—and staff who are not always perceived as cheerful. The store can have long lines and may be pricier than competitors, though good deals are available for members using the app. Some shoppers note a lack of specific items like eggs. The shared parking lot has significant issues, including large potholes and cracks. The pharmacy drive-thru is particularly problematic, featuring a very tight hairpin turn with a pothole that has caused vehicle damage. Despite these infrastructure concerns, the overall store is recommended for grocery and pharmacy needs.
I enjoy the new layout of the store but the lack of real customer service and a general attitude of aggression and lack of interest to the customer is not an isolated phenomenon with Safeway.

Parking lot a bit dark. But inside was well stocked and clean.
