I don’t normally take time to write reviews but these people are rude. I get a notification that I have a package delivered when I get my keys for the box I open it up and there’s an empty package in there with no label or anything. They said it was because my boyfriend opens his package in the waiting room and leave the trash in the mail room, which absolutely is not the case. How immature to act if this was even the case.
Another time I came in, I ask the lady Yvonne if I should tape the label on the box (assuming they would have a plastic insert first so the label doesn’t get damaged) and her response is “I think it’s common sense.” You would think if you were in customer service, you would be there help people.

Thank you so much USPS for delivering my $500 fishing rod in an open box and snapped in half. I literally cannot fathom the amount of negligence it would take snap a fishing rod that was packed in a cardboard box inside a rod sleeve. Not only did deliver it three days late and broken, but someone opened it prior to it being delivered as one end of the box was completely open. I hope Elon fires all of you.

The key for box 1P does not open it, and is bent out of shape. Amber Kat A. Clearly does not live in Bayfield nor has she dealt with the problems everyone else who posted here has experienced. This local office does their best but the myriad of issues are frequent and repeating, even after they are pointed out to and acknowledged by the postal workers/management.
Edit: revised from one to three stars after this office took care of this issue today.

These people work their butts off with the resources they have and local curmudgeons hate it. I hope the USPS lasts forever ♥️

I don’t normally complain but after the 4th time of expecting a package that needed a signature I waited around all day each time only to be notified that I wasn’t home. The mail lady is very nice but very slow and will never deliver for signature.

The Hispanic lady at the counter is very rude and combative and wants to argue. when all I did was ask a simple question. Just go to ups at the pharmacy they're way better and professional.

They won't deliver my package to my door after I filled out their online request and the slip they left has no information on it.

Worst post office in America. Every time I have gone in they have messed something up. They never answer the phones.

Small town post office. Quick and efficient, a customer in front of me mentioned how kind the front desk woman always is. I agree always very sweet and friendly! Very Much appreciated!

The hours of this post office are impractical for people that work before 830 and after 4. This is an issue for people that do not have full mail boxes and frequently have to go in to the post office to pick up packages.

When the post office I'd booked passport appointments at had their agent out sick, the Bayfield office was willing to take us on the spur of the moment. Victoria and Yvonne were both extremely helpful, and gracious. Thank you!

I received notification that my package that I've been waiting 4 months for had finally made it to the Bayfield, CO post office and was ready for pick up. The office hours here on Saturday are 10:00-12:00. I went in at roughly 11:30 to pick up my package. When I got there the woman at the desk refused to even look for my package or even ask for my tracking number. She told me to come back after 2:00. I reminded here that they close at 12:00. She said that there would be a key in my post office box for the parcel. I explained it would be too big for one of the lock boxes but she said it would it fit, without asking dimensions. Clearly I was just being blown off because she didn't feel like helping anyone today. Bayfield is not a large community, there was no line before or after me so it wasn't like she was extremely busy. Just not willing to help, to the extent that she lied altogether. I went back after 2:00 as per her instruction, and nothing was in my box to retrieve my parcel. I believe this is the same woman, all the other reviews on here are upset about. I've made a complaint directly to the Post Office. But I don't feel it will do much good. Seems like she has been like this to quite a few other people for several months now.

There is a lady who works here with long brown and blonde hair she was very rude and snippy while i was trying to get my passport . she was almost talking down to me and not being very helpful at all she should not be working customer service if she is going to be rude and snippy to everyone who comes in. This put a really bad taste in my mouth and just made me feel like never coming back here . It made me not want to trust her with any of my personal info and on top of this whole experience she made me second guess my decision on getting the passport card instead of the book which is a BIG difference.
