Reserved a compact car. All they had was a Toyota Tacoma truck. Nice truck but not the greatest on gas. The guy who did the rental.process was super nice. I returned it and everything seemed fine. Several days later I got charged $221 for a cleaning fee. I called the local office and the guy was extremely rude and said he could have charged me twice as much due to dog hair. A dog was in the truck for 20 min and there was hardly any hair. I called Budget 800 and they promised to return it but it was rejected by the local office even though they didn't provide pics or proof of what they spent money on. I took it up through my credit union with visa and after 2.5 months got my money back. If they I had checked it when I returned it, I would have cleaned it myself or paid a reasonable fee. Instead they put me through hell to get the money back. They had no pics nor detail on the $221. Yes, they can add charges but the contract says "reasonable." Do not rent from this location or if you do, take extensive pics. I am going to write to Budget and Costco travel customer service. Will not rent from this location again.

This Budget location has to be singularly the worst rental experience I have ever had. We were renting a van for an in-town move. The counter person was rude, insistent, aggressive that we should buy their insurance (at 3x the cost of the rental), and that we must sign an insurance waiver stating we were renting a box truck, despite the fact that we were in fact renting a van. Once we made it through that process, the actual van was a disgusting - liberally adorned with half eat french fries and empty boxes of Marlboros. It was equally filthy on the outside with significant body damage. If we did not have movers waiting, there is no way we would have gone through with this. Read the other reviews and avoid this place if at all possible.

The car that we received from the airport location had a leaky front tire and a crack in the windshield. We brought it to this location and Asem took care of care of us. He swapped out the vehicle and got us back on the road. Before we left, Jay insisted on de-icing the windshield and making sure we had everything swapped over from the first vehicle.Fantastic service and kindness from the people at this location.

They ignore my reservation and say there are no cars available. And he said that if I paid more, I could take the bigger car right away. Otherwise, he said, I would have to wait until 5 p.m. So I just canceled the reservation. If you have the time and can consider it, I recommend taking a Budget somewhere else, Hertz or ZIP car. Your time and money are precious.

Jay was working alone and was able to handle multiple upset clients with ease. He is the definition of talent, skills, understanding and customer service. Jay is outstanding. I can only hope his managers see his value as we did. He definitely needs a raise if he continues to work with that level of skill alone on Saturdays.

Booked a car to pick up here. I know I made the reservation less then 24 hours before picking it up but the issues that followed lead me to this review. Reserved a compact for a 11 am pick up. Got a call that morning saying that they would not have the car at that time but should at 1200 and they would call me when ready. When 100 came around and no call I stopped by. After waiting behind a few people who were having different issues Athena me from what I was hearing. When I got to the counter and explained the situation I was to,d they don’t carry these types of car at the location, only suvs. So why offer them online? I found the price was $75 more a day and since I made the reservation less then 24 hours, they couldn’t give me a better price. Well I needed the car so I said sure. Then he tells me they have no cars at all for me. So why even tell me about the suvs?!! He then said the reservation would be refunded and he offered to call me the next day to tell me what they go in overnight and before they closed to see what they could offer me. I liked that and found it would still work for me. That is if I got the call! I then checked online and Budget said my pic up front amount was non refundable since I never picked up the car they didn’t have! Fortunately I did a chat online on the site, explained the issue. Short time later (even following their site kicking me out of the chat) they refunded the money. This is why they got two stars or I would go with one star only.

Steer clear from this place! My husband and I rented this vehicle to visit a family and they gave us lemon car and on the July 4th, it broke down and they provided an tow and had changed in truck rental which was good. this place charged me with the lemon car window crack price. So this place is ridiculously AN RIP OFF. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prepaid for a rental...showed up and was told no cars available. Nobody called or emailed to let me know either. Person said they can't give a refund nor would they help locate a different rental. Didn't even offer a customer support number to call. Horrible customer service...stay away!!!!

I have had a truck and car trailer booked for over a month and they call me tonight before I move tomorrow to tell me they dont have the trailer but i can still get the truck. lol. disgusting scam of a company

I don’t want to get into it but terrible terrible experience. For me and during my 3hrs waiting for them to fix mistakes several people were complaining all there vehicles were also not working

The price was too good to be true. And it was, they charged me an extra 100 dollars for literally no reason. Then I had to call their corporate line and waste my free time trying to figure out what the charge was about (spoiler alert nothing). If you are going to rent here, keep your receipts they will absolutely try to price gouge you. Only reason I'm giving this two stars not one is because after slogging through the corporate help line I was able to get refunded for the obviously bogus charges. If you're willing to put in the time to call the help line you might actually get a good deal.

The guy at the desk was all smiles checking in the young lady before us but when we came up to the desk, his smile disappeared and he sour and rude to us the whole time. Tried to claim we had animals in the vehicle. We literally had the car for several days to take a 30 hour round trip drive across several states with 5 people in the car to go to a funeral. We 100% did not have any animals in the car. We barely fit in the car ourselves. He was rude, threatening to charge $450 extra for cleaning. Mind you, we cleaned before returning the stupid car. Also discovered after the fact, they charged $98 more than what my final charges showed on Priceline. Never coming back.
