Hours: The Village is an old school hardware store with lots of stuff that you can’t find in the mega big box stores. It has been around for decades and has a large and loyal following. The shop offers an amazing selection, and the people are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, showing customers exactly where items are and calling a colleague if a specific department is needed. Customers appreciate the welcome feel and the ability to browse or get what they need quickly. In addition to hardware, the place serves chicken empanadas that are excellent, with lean, well seasoned chicken inside, tasty pastry crust that is well toasted. The food is a little pricey but of excellent quality. The place also functions as a Boulder staple for breakfast, a simple Mom and pop shop that serves basic breakfast and lunch, though one female server can be abrupt and hurry. The Village also houses a barbershop that has been around for 27 years. The owner and cutters give great cut or shave, continuing a fantastic tradition that started with the grandpa, the first generation. Overall, The Village provides great resources and service for projects and everyday needs.
