“This is the most honest, straightforward and fair shop I’ve ever taken my car to. Darren is so incredibly nice and helpful, and he saved me a ton of money. I’d already taken my Kia SUV to Boulder Valley Automotive for other small repairs because they’re great and their prices are really fair. This time I paid extra to have it towed to them because the engine failed while I was driving. Darren thought it seemed like a specific warranty issue Kia has acknowledged, and that there was a good chance Kia might cover the repair. He talked to the dealership and they agreed it sounded like that issue. I had the SUV towed to Kia.Kia told me I needed a bunch of different repairs, not that it was the warranty issue. I freaked out and talked to BVA again. Darren told me the repairs they were suggesting made no sense and called them again. It turned out the Kia dealership shop hadn’t listened at all to what BVA told them. When Kia looked for what Darren had told them to, they found it WAS the warranty issue. Kia is replacing the engine at no cost to me. From this I learned that dealership will happily try to sell people work their cars don’t need.I really appreciate BVA’s honesty and helpfulness. They aren’t condescending to me because I’m a woman, and I think they genuinely care about helping people.”

“Great service and prices, and locally owned! Clean, quiet waiting room with wifi. Techs are way more knowledgeable and professional than average. Same exact price as the big chain store for my tires. How? Don't know, but I'm done going elsewhere.”

“I have a van outfitted for adventures in the mountains. Jason and the crew at The Shop Automotive, installed some aftermarket suspension parts; tunable shocks. The original install was quick, priced appropriately, and has worked like a dream.Since then, I further modified the van by installing skid plates that protected the lower rear shocks. This caused some issues with the longevity of small shock parts. The issue resulted in a loose lower shock mount, and a clunking noise for the life of me I could not identify.I took the van to Jason for diagnosis. He took his time and by process of elimination, identified the problem. The lower shock skid plates were removed, new small parts installed. The van drives like a dream again. Phew! All of this was completed in two days time. Phuk. Yeah. Thanks Jason!PS -- A shout out to Piper as well for a seamless intake of my vehicle with a smile on her face and kind demeanor. #customerserviceForTheWin”

“Probably the quickest oil change ever. And they gave the car the business (vacuum, wiped down etc) which is good because my car is very dirty. Full synthetic oil change with tax came to about $92.”

“Our truck door wouldn't open with the key, so we took it in to True Automotive in Boulder. We authorized a $180 diagnostic fee, as it seemed likely they would need to take apart the door to see what was going on. Much to our surprise, the service manager, Dave, called back an hour later to tell us the tech was able to resolve the issue with a shot of liquid graphite, and that there was no charge for the service. Wow! I can't remember the last time a shop fixed a problem for free! I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone in need of automotive repairs.”

“This place deserves 10 stars ⭐! The staff and owner were awesome. They really know their stuff. This location does diesel emissions testing for heavy and light duty diesels (any year) and has a warm waiting room with a bathroom. They even informed me that I can take my completed emissions test paper to a kiosk (located in select grocery stores in the county) for renewal instead of making an appointment at the DMV. I will be returning next year for sure. Thank you SO much!”
