The grooming department provided a Terrible experience. They agreed to bath, cut, nails, anal glands. After over three hours of having our mild mannered “Morkie” they called and said they provided a bath and brush and it’ll be $41.00. When asked why they didn’t complete the services, they said , He didn’t like it. However, he’s been groomed multiple times and I’ve never had an issue. I’ve canceled our two other dog “grooming” appointments and will have to find a competent groomer. It’s too bad because it was a convenient location.

We take our golden retriever to PetSmart for grooming sometimes, mostly because their groomers are trained and it’s convenient to use the app. The pricing’s usually pretty reasonable, which is a plus.

This review is solely for one employee, named Amber and my experience with her tonight.
I was in the store tonight at 7pm with my (just turned) 4 year old. Upon walking in, we stopped to look at the reptiles on our way to the reptile light bulbs. We could see an employee cleaning the small animal end cap and her unleashed service dog laying in the middle of the isle. When we were done looking at reptiles, I picked up my son and we had to walk around the service dog laying in the isle. While walking past, I told my son something like “look at this cute doggie.” We walked down the aisle to the bulbs and I put him down so I could look for the light bulb I needed and my son said “hi, doggie.” The employee immediately rounded the corner and yelled “please do not talk to my dog.” We are standing at least 7ft away from the dog and she makes him get up and moves him even further away from us. I was taken aback by her behavior and then said “that was kind of rude.” She turned and said “are you talking to me?” I said “yes,” and she begins to yell at me about how it’s a felony to talk to service dogs while they are working and to look it up. And then yelled “I have a disability!” She then proceeded to tell me that she is not yelling at my child but is instead educating him. I said “if you were trying to educate him you could have said something like sorry buddy, this dog is working right now so we shouldn’t talk to him.” She continues on about how I am in the wrong for distracting her dog. (I’d also like to point out that this dog did not even look at us or get distracted in any kind of way nor did my child even try to go up to the dog or get his attention.) This is when I asked for her name (she told me it was Amber) and went to find a manager. The manager I spoke with was very apologetic and said that this is not the first complaint they have received about Amber. I am very appalled by this interaction and makes me hesitant to ever come back into this store which is most inconvenient since it’s the closest one to my house. However, I do not appreciate her talking to my 4 year old child in such a way. He had no idea that he was doing anything “wrong” and we have always taught him not to go up to or pet a service dog. Amber was so rude and should not be working in customer service. I also feel bad for her dog because he did absolutely nothing wrong and she was rude to him as well.

Worst grooming experience EVER at this location. Completely shaved down my Yorkie. I called and they told me that my dog had already been done and picked up by “dad” while “dad” was at gym. Then they said, oh he is here but he is done. I asked why I didn’t get a notification he was done then? Then they said he isn’t done but he has been shaved already. 2 hours later they called and said he was done. She said she had to shave out the mats on the belly/legs, but her boss said it’s all one length or nothing - “no more Swiss cheese” - whatever that means. She then said a girl called me two days prior to tell me this information which is a total lie. The girl called to tell me that I could not bring my other dog at the same time (thank God), and that was it! They don’t answer the phone. The last time I took both dogs here (first visit) I asked for them to be cut down and the girl decided not to, on her own, and did almost nothing, which is why this one was not matted - and then charged me $20 extra for matting, and shaved him all over even though he wasn’t matted all over. This is the laziest grooming facility I’ve ever encountered. We used petsmart grooming in Texas and had no issues at all with our girl there. Very disappointing.

Went to buy some koi and some fancy goldfish. Couldn't see the fish on the top aquariums so I stood on their bookcase ladder on the bottom rung. I was asked to get off of it. So I asked for a step stool. The lady working there said they didn't have one and its policy not to let anyone on their ladders. I'm 5foot seven. Her final reply after I asked how am I supposed to see the fish on the top was sorry. It sucks being short. Lol. Petsmart has lost my business now. I will drive the extra 15 minutes to pet co from now on. I hope her management sees this review.

I was dropping off my dog for grooming. When the staff put collar on him, my dog was a little too excited towards her. Yes, he is a 2 year old golden retriever, so he is overly friendly sometimes, but the staff claims that he bit her! She pointed her arm where you can’t see anything, not even a little reddish. My dog has never bite anyone! Goldens don’t bite people, this type of dogs don’t even have the history of biting people. And she refused our grooming. Just because she can’t handle puppies she had to say my dog bite her.

The staff at this location are AWESOME! My cat got out of his carrier in the store and took off. The staff jumped into action, locked down the store and returned my bad cat to his carrier! They’re were so helpful and kind to me.
