“Very convenient location for people like us (who live out here in the sticks) to get to, and I greatly appreciate that! The vet we saw when we first went in, unfortunately seemed to be intimidated by our dogs (a 4 yr old Border Collie x GSD and his 10 month old son who is x Great Pyrenees). They can be very intimidating, I get that, but that's also the way they're supposed to be, they are not just simply family pets, they're farm dogs who have to deal with coyotes and the like, so yeah, they can be scary. But when things are getting spooky out here where no one can hear you scream, you want a scary dog or two around! 😉 Lesson learned on my part, only take The Boys in one at a time, and on different days. Together, they're just too much chaos for everything within a 100 miles to deal with. 😏 But my dogs aside, Calhan Veterinary Clinic is a large and small animal practice. The staff is friendly and helpful, the vet was knowledgeable and he responded to my questions with informed answers.”
