“I have been a pleased customer of Jim's tire for over 20 years. Yesterday they went out of their way to install 2 new tires on my old Case Uniloader (skid steer). Randy is the specialist that works on heavy equipment tires saved me the price of new tubes by reforming the dents in the rims so that a tubeless tire would work again! That was huge! He then went out of his way to install my tire chains which at 80+ years young are getting hard to handle. And Graham, their newish manager went out of his way to fit me in early in the morning. “We have been taking our vehicles to Lindner Chevrolet since 2016 for service. When we wanted a new car we told them what we wanted and were shown different options. The staff there have always been helpful and courteous, never pushy. Bob showed us the features etc on the cars and when we made our decision he went over everything on that model, and when we picked up the car the next day with our daughter he went over everything again for her since she takes us on out of town trips. The paperwork went smoothly, thanks to everybody there.”
“My car broke down outside of Cañon city, i got it towed here Labor day. 8am the next day they had given me a call & let me know it was the water pump. By 11:45am SAME DAY, they had it fixed and ready to go! Not to mention that they also gave me a ride over to get my vehicle. That's a service most shops don't provide. “Canon City Tire Service has been such a gift during my time in the area! Every couple of weeks I’d stop by for help checking the tire pressure on my Honda ADV 160 scooter, and no matter how busy they were, someone always stopped what they were doing to help. They were consistently friendly, quick, and willing to go the extra mile.
On my last visit, one of the guys noticed my rear tire was flat and found a nail in it. Even though they don’t normally work on scooters, they immediately offered to order me a replacement tire. I had to decline since I was leaving the area, but I so appreciated the offer and the care they showed.
Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail gave me such peace of mind and a real sense of safety on the road. I can’t recommend Canon City Tire Service highly enough—they truly go above and beyond!”

“These guys really saved the day for me and my family. We were 800 miles from home on vacation, stopped to visit the Gorge and my truck blew a high pressure coolant line back behind the turbo in a place I couldn't even see. They got all the parts needed overnight, got it replaced and even took the time to clean out my intakes since they had the top end torn apart to reach it.We were back on the road in a couple of days when all the other shops in the area wouldn't even take a look at it knowing we were stuck there as travelers! An untrustworthy mechanic could have taken advantage of this and used our situation to tack on hundreds of dollars, but they completed the fix at a great price and we made it home safely AND I had much better fuel mileage due to the cleaning they did!I highly recommend their service as it was quick, honest and well performed. “A HUGE thumbs up for Austin Auto
My wife and I were in Canon City for a weeklong event. On Wednesday of that week, we made the trip up to Pike's Peak. On the way down we stopped by the side of the road next to a barrier and got out and left the engine running. We noticed a minor noise coming from the engine. The next morning at the hotel I investigated the noise further and it was bad enough that I decided we should get it checked out as we were planning on leaving the next day.
The first shop we went checked it out and decided it was the water pump as the pulley for it had a slight wobble. The shop manager stated they hadn't replaced a water pump on our model van and his reference books stated that the engine needed to be pulled to replace the pump. They were too busy to take that big of a job on short notice and said that they could do in in a week. We didn't want to wait as we needed to leave Canon City to get back to Seattle. The shop manager provided us with the names and number of a couple of other shops in town and the dealer info in a town 30 miles away.
We made the trip to Austin Auto and they confirmed the water pump needed to be replaced but they were booked a month out. Kevin the shop manager did state that he felt the water pump could be replaced without pulling the engine. At that point my wife and I were flummoxed. We went out to our van and were talking about how we were going to handle staying around Canon City, renting a car, extending our hotel stay, cancelling and making new hotel reservations for our trip back to Seattle once the water pump work was complete. We were in the process of calling the dealer to check with them when Kevin walked out to talk to us. He said he talked to his shop foreman about the water pump replacement and the fact that we were in a bind and were supposed to leave the next day. The shop foreman had experience replacing water pumps on this type of engine and apparently took pity on our situation and said he'd be willing to do the work himself so we could be on our way on schedule. Kevin checked us in and he made sure the parts needed were available. He said they'd be able to have the work done late the same day or the next depending on how it went.
We went back to the hotel and then decided to go hit some touristy spots. Late the same afternoon Kevin called and said the work was done and we could come and pick up the van. We were ecstatic and so happy that Austin Auto was so helpful and efficient
