“My husband and I were on a 25th wedding anniversary over night trip. Upon arrival the manager on duty was so kind and friendly.
After getting checked in we went up to our
HUGE room (328)
This room was MASSIVE! The bed was so comfy. Super clean, comfort lights were on above the tv and bed. Very welcoming.
The pool and hot tub were very clean also.
The next morning (today) we went down to breakfast. The selection was amazing. So many choices for breakfast. They had THE WAFFLES (IYKYK), the coffee machine was amazing as it grinds the beans fresh.
We would stay here in a heartbeat if our travels come this way again.”

Great stay at the Motel 6 in Canon City! Justin, the owner, was super friendly and easy to talk to, and you can tell he really cares about the place and his guests. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Definitely one of the better Motel 6 experiences I’ve had. Would stay here again for sure!”

“What an absolutely beautiful hotel! Our room was incredibly comfortable—the beds and feather down pillows were heavenly, and the marble walk-in shower was stunning.
We drove in from Tennessee to meet our Colorado friends. After checking in, we decided to dine at the historic 1887 Restaurant. Dinner was excellent—we enjoyed steak tips, filet, and cocktails, all perfectly prepared.
The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. We ran into a small snafu with our room, and the team handled it quickly and graciously, helping us access another room without issue.
Overall, our experience was outstanding, and we would highly recommend this hotel. We also had the pleasure of morning coffee at Standard Oil, where the service was excellent and the coffee and tea's were hot and relaxing.
The attention to detail throughout the hotel truly reflects the time, care, and investment put into its renovation. This hotel is a wonderful addition to Canon City.”
