The staff is friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable, providing good advice and helping with fishing licenses. The guided trips are excellent and fun, with skilled and laid-back guides offering great river knowledge. It is an open and helpful place for both gear and licenses, providing a great experience for wading and catching trout.

Great shop with friendly and helpful staff. Did a guided fishing tour our guide Charlie and had an AWESOME time. He took great care of the two of us: teaching us the basics, setting up different flies, providing hot tea for the chilly morning, and just making the whole experience fun. Thanks!

Needed a fishing license on a Sunday and all the places in Basalt were closed. Alpine Anglers were open and helpful. Bring cash if you’re going to buy a fishing license!
