“This place is great! Jeff helped me off load some desks and office chairs that I had to donate. They ship across the country to places in need! He mentioned these items would be en route to Kenya next week! Awesome non profit organization to donate all types of office desks, chairs, filing cabinets. They only accept office items. Check them out, process to donate was super easy and drive up dock.”

“I visited the Buddy Center to drop off donations of towels that they can use as bedding. There is a place right outside the door to drop off items. I had to go in just to see the animals. The place is always clean. It is much smaller than the Denver location so not a large selection. I have adopted a cat from the Buddy Center in the past. They only had 2 cats in this visit, but quite a few adorable bunnies.”

“Outstanding folks doing amazing education in the community. Animals well cared for and obviously well loved! I took my two grandkids back in the summer. My older grandson Ben age 10 got to walk a llama with the group of volunteers!! He absolutely had a blast. Christopher is six. He’s autistic and non verbal. The animals were so gentle and he loved getting to pet them. His smile and joy in being with the animals especially the smaller goats made my heart so happy. Because of his noise aversion it’s difficult to find fun things to do with him. The serenity and calmness of the animals gave Christopher a very special outing with grandma! Thank you Lynda Edwards for everything you do for the animals, special needs kids, adults and just the entire community involvement!!! Blessings always”

“Application process is rigorous but fair and is for the safety of both the potential client and the dog. Dogs are thoroughly trained and provide needed assistance to disabled handlers. No cost to the client if you're accepted but there is a 2-3 year waiting period until you are matched with a dog suitable for you. Very reputable organization.”

“I would like to say how awesome this place really and truly is! I think the staff here is incredible with a true focus on the individual and recovery is possible. I have tried to get sober on a number of occasions and this time I believe I have learned the proper way to not only treat myself but have gained the knowledge to rebuild my life! I am so very grateful for this program and would recommend it to any individual that is at the end of their rope and don't have any hope. The staff is caring, and I believe they comfort us to the point that we figure out our program but coach us correctly. I thank my higher power for getting me into this program and I'm going to be proud that anyone can do it! I am currently sober as of December 13th and I have even given up cigarettes and I'm on day 8 without nicotine. Thank God!!!! Thank you marys hope. Keep saving us!!!!”

“We come all the way from Aurora to swim here. You're not choking on chlorine here and if you're just there to watch your kids swim, you don't feel like you're sitting in a terrarium. It's just cleaner.”

“Note- the only things that should matter with a canine rescue are: -do they love the animals and do their best to give them a good home? -Are those working for/volunteering with the organization generally pleasant to deal with? -Do they operate with integrity and do what they say they are going to do? The answer here is a yes for all three. Highly recommend.Recurring trend on the negative reviews here is just people who get apps denied. Sour grapes. Guess what, I got my app denied somewhere else for a reason I thought was sort of silly but who cares! The criteria was there plain as day, I just didn’t notice it. You know what I did? I applied somewhere else (here) and found an amazing animal to add to our family. The rescue took care of getting her up to date on everything she needed and even covered surgery that was needed prior to finalizing adoption. Those that I dealt with were kind and courteous and obviously care very much about the animals. If you get your application denied, it’s not personal. Literally. They don’t “know” you, so all they can do is set up criteria using many different experiences. It’s the best way to do this. If you don’t meet the criteria here… apply somewhere that you do, drive over to dumb friends league, etc. there are *many* dogs that need adopting. My experience with this group was excellent.”

“Lots of great items. Fun excursion! If you want to browse, you will always find a treasure here. Lots of unique items. Some of their clothes have the original price tags. Find an old piece of furniture and chalk paint it and you will be delighted with the end result. Hobby Lobby and Joanne's have chalk paint in all colors. WalMart also had a few colors.”

“This location is clean and the staff is very friendly and items are easy to find. It’s a thrift shop, so if people want new items for cheap, guess you should wait for them to go on sale at a non thrift shop store.”
