“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hope’s Promise! Before connecting with them, I was beyond frustrated trying to figure out how to begin the foster/adopt journey. I felt completely uneducated about the process because, unfortunately, there just aren’t enough resources out there to guide families in the right direction — even Google couldn’t answer my questions.

From the very first moment we connected with Hope’s Promise, everything changed. Every single one of our questions was answered with patience and clarity. The staff is absolutely amazing — many of them have been with this agency for years, and most have personally fostered and adopted children themselves. That depth of experience is so inspirational and gave us so much peace and confidence.

What makes this organization even more special is their heart for Christ. Hope’s Promise is a faith-led agency, and being able to connect with them on that level has been such a blessing. Even though we are not licensed yet (but soon!), I can honestly say I have not felt stressed throughout this process, despite all the many steps involved. That peace only comes from being surrounded by such a supportive, knowledgeable, and faith-driven team.

If you are considering fostering or adopting, I wholeheartedly recommend Hope’s Promise. This is more than just an agency — it’s a family, and they truly walk alongside you every step of the way.”

“This is a very caring and clan place if you are thinking of adopting an animal. We dropped off donations for them today. They had a cute bunny out there today. Roger!”

“The folks at Aging Resources of Douglas have helped my mom tremendously. They are patient, helpful, and genuinely kind people. The volunteers provide invaluable services and are always friendly. I couldn't appreciate the work that Aging Resources does for the community more. They really do an outstanding job!”

“An incredible experience! Mark & Lee are excellent horsemen. As a member of the Veterans Equine Therapy group it was an unforgettable experience learning basic horsemanship and having camaraderie with fellow veterans.”

“I had my wedding at The Grange in April 2025. This is a very good venue to rent if you’re on a budget. We had about 50 guests and used the patio for our ceremony and then the indoor area for our reception. They do have heaters on the outdoor patio if needed. We chose April for our wedding to avoid dealing with traffic from public as this is before the pool reopened for the Spring and Summer seasons. The venue had a nice rustic feel and has small room in the back that my bridesmaids used as a changing room. They also have good sized bathrooms you can use to change and touch up makeup. Since you are responsible for setup, tear down, and cleaning, I recommend hiring a catering company that includes that in their services. There is someone on-site during the wedding in case any issues arise - they just stay in the front office. The staff at the Grange had great communication and answered all of my questions during the planning process. This is a great venue if you’re on a budget and plan on having a small to medium sized wedding. I had an overall good experience renting this venue.”

“If you have cloths or food to donate this is the place. Don't worry about calling. Just drive around the building clockwise when they're open and they'll direct you to the correct area for donations.”

“Checking it out at a friend's recommendation. Nice prices. Clean and calm. Friendly staff. Nice place over all. I simply live out of town by 45+ minutes. So a drive for me. Was worth it, though.”
