“I have lived in the area here for about 2 years now and Jill is always there to help she's one of the most friendly and nicest people I've ever met at Dollar tree. There's also another lady there who has that same customer service. If you walk into this Dollar tree it's always clean things might be sold out but nothing's ever out of place the people working there are always ready and willing to help and you can tell that they've been trained correctly.”
“I usually come here for everything, but they sell Beta fish here and it bothers me how they don't really pay attention/ neglect them until someone purchases them. It breaks my heart seeing them like this. They do everything else right. But please if you can't take care of these fish, DONT SELL THEM. PERIOD!”

“Hot lobby and no seating while you wait for the staff to check on your parts request. Stairs so no wheelchair accessibility. Mostly online. Huge selection of appliance parts. Used to be much better, but since COVID yeah not so much.”
“This store is really clean and organized, plus has a lot of merchandise. The associate who helped, was really nice. His nametag said Jordan. I found a cute jumpsuit for $12.50, and also Lays chips were on sale 3 regular size bags for $6. That's the lowest price you can find for chips anywhere. Took a retail therapy lunch break, and I'm glad I got such great deals and customer service.”
“Have a vriety of products.. but as we already know nothing is 1$ now its about twenty five cents higher and most of products are about dollar fifty and five dollars. Still worth it to get a lot of products at decent price. Staff here is attentive and knowledgable. Would definetely recommend this place for any products from party supplies to greeting cards to small quantity household products.”

“I had the worst experience at Black Friday today March 10th. One of the employees screamed at everyone at the store accusing of everyone stealing which it’s nobody’s fault, if some other people decided to steal why would he go in the store and scream at everyone saying to “these goes to everyone who steals my stuff” he screamed bad words to us as well and that’s not acceptable we are customers it was nobodies fault that other people decided to steal. I really didn’t like that he disrespected everyone at the store and don’t think is fair. Yeah there is people that steal all the time everywhere not just there and that’s there problem not the rest of everyone but it’s unacceptable some employee to scream at everyone who didn’t do anything and he technically accused everyone of stealing. I understand his frustration of people stealing but that’s not the way of treating customers.”
“Super friendly staff! They're in the middle of moving stuff around after the holidays and didn't quite have what I needed, however they explained the store was really geared towards inexpensive gifts for kids. I was after kitchen utensils and things kids don't care about. ?”
“Needed another check out lane. There was only 1 lane open and cashier was trying to answer questions/work with/help a woman who spoke minimal English; patron had 1.5 baskets of items. LOTS of items.”

“I love these stores and wish we had them in Montana. Only thing that was incredibly frustrating was the amount of items that did not have a price on them. I would say 60% of the items in each store I went to, did not have prices on their items. The staff got frustrated when I asked about pricing, mostly because they didn't know either and had to look it up. Other than that, I love these stores!”

“Always happy with Dollartree. They provide a valuable section of cheap products at cheap prices. Sometimes I can find things here cheaper than the other stores. Often they struggle with keeping the store stocked and clean but the staff always seem cheerful and friendly.”
“Dollar tree is such an affordable lifesaver for party or seasonal decor. Staff there was great a few weeks ago while they were still putting out additional Christmas items, a staff member helped me find what I was looking for in the packing boxes. Love coming here for balloons as well!”
“Great prices, but all of their locations need to have more help.They've been struggling with that, but other than not just the basic family dollar really? Great employees, very helpful. I had left my phone in the Uber when I got dropped off and this girl was getting off work, but she sat there and let me use her phone to get ahold of the Uber and to be able to find my phone it was so helpful, and she was super nice, the location on Alameda. Is usually where I go and it's clean, you know, just basic shopping needs. I know it's so much better for me than Walmart, because walmart's so huge and Walmart has just really fallen apart. So I really like that, I can stop in here. It's not big and I can get what I need and get out of there. Very fast customer service and check out was fast”
“I have been coming here with my emotional support cat @bastetnaturewalker for over a year now. We have experienced a lot of staff changes over the course of this past year. From this new crew. There's a blonde that has been working there for months. Who has gone above and beyond the Call of Duty to establish personable relationships with myself and other customers. As a result of this, she has gone out of her way to make sure that I'm accommodated with my disabilities by making sure whether I remember to bring my carry bag to take the groceries in and on days that I forget this, she does everything she can to try and make it to where I can carry the items. Even if she is not the one that is running the register whether she's on shift or not, she always comes up to us to make sure we're doing okay and checks in with us. This helped both of us feel accepted and cared for and has caused us to continue returning to this family Dollar location. However, this is our last week being able to shop at this location. I have not found a store in the Newtown for a family Dollar and so I am glad that I'm able to shop at this location before we leave and that both myself and bastet are greeted so warmly.”
“2024-April, there were lots of parking spaces available.
The staff are nice, but I think they could use more people. The shelves could use more merchandise. We came on a day when they were trying to put more stuff on the shelf.
Like the other stores similar to this, it was a little messy, but the staff were trying to keep up.

“I really love this store and appreciate the workers. I usually don’t come to stores super late but as I was in and out, I saw and heard people getting upset with an employee who was simply addressing the time they close. That’s all. I’ve worked in customer service for years and understand how frustrating it can be when customers give workers a hard time at closing. They have lives and wanna get home. Maybe they have kids they want to go home to. Maybe they have to come right back in the morning and want to get some sleep. You never know so I just wanted to leave a good review because retail workers deal with a lot and I know id want someone to have my back.”
