I moved here from CVS, and I'm so happy I did. I've had nothing but good experiences w staff pharmacist and getting my medicine.Let's face it, meds are expensive, and insurances are hard to decipher...at least interactions I have here seem to work. Hope you have a similar experience.

I use to go to another neighborhood grocery pharmacy, Safeway employees are always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help.

Fact: the store is required to charge for bags. I accept that.
However, dishonesty is unacceptable. Before placing a pick up order, the bag fee was 50 cents. On the final receipt, I was charged 1 dollar, and no items had been added. Upon picking up my groceries, they only used 9 bags. While this is small scale fraud, it certainly can add up to real money for Safeway quickly.
To add insult to injury, the groceries weren’t even thoughtfully packed. One item per bag is BS, and they know it.
This Safeway needs to be more mindful of resources and customers. Being untruthful about bag usage and charges is no way retain business.

So many complaints. Rude service. Product locations are outdated, so hard to find what you're looking for. If you ask an employee, they may be helpful, then again, maybe they'll point and tell you "Aisle 12." Or maybe not. People lined up 15 deep to check out and only two registers open. With a King Soopers just down the road, there's no reason to put up with bad service.

Just go elsewhere. They take forever and never have meds filled on time. When you call to get a hold of someone, they just keep you on an indefinite hold. Don’t waste your time.

Seriously need to hire more people, I’ve never waited less than 20 minutes in the line and yet I’ve never been more than 2-3 people back in line. I’m sure the two employees that do work here do a fine job but the wait time is ridiculous and completely unnecessary

They n Ed to hire more competent people. It is the slowest pharmacy I have ever used. Takes 2 days for a prescription when Dr calls it in. Order online and same thing. Takes FOREVER for technicians to check you out. I’m in line now with 6 people. Taking over 5 minutes for each so far.

5 Oct 21 - my husband and I went to get our Pfizer booster vaccine and when we checked in there was only only one couple ahead of us. We filled out the paperwork and showed our vaccination card, Medicare card, Driver's license etc. After we got there it started to get full and we had to wait maybe 30 minutes or longer to get our shots. The pharmacist suggested I get my Shingle boostershot and the Pfizer booster shot. She asked my husband if he wanted the Shingle shot so he also got it plus the Pfizer booster shot. Although we had to wait a while to get our shots it esa worth it because our pharmacist was so pleasant and friendly.

Being from the south, I miss visiting my local Publix. However, Safeway is as close as I can find to a Publix. The staff at the Safeway on Union Blvd is SO friendly. And it's not just one or two people, it's EVERY department! Customer service, pharmacy, deli, the dairy section, meat/seafood department.....EVERYONE is so helpful and personable. I know there are some items I can get cheaper by visiting other stores, but the staff at this Safeway will keep me coming back. It's as close to "home" as I can find. Thank you, Safeway!

While I feel the store itself deserves a 5 Star, Rose (customer service clerk/mgr) literally would get 0 stars. We went to self check out and found that the digital coupons were not showing up on our app. Linda (Self-Service Clerk) was gracious enough enough to try to assist us. When the issue could not be resolved she sent us to a lane where Beth (Lane Clerk) attempted to try to help us and troubleshoot the app. Linda walked over to our lane and was explaining to us how the bacon coupon is typically showing at the bottom of the list, Linda again began to try to assist us. In the process of her GREAT customer service, Rose came marching over and reprimanded Linda in a very demeaning way in front of the customers telling her to get back to self-Serve. Rose who had no customers at customer service had the opportunity to jump in and help Linda at self-service instead of just barking out orders. It made us extremely uncomfortable and I felt really bad for Linda who was doing her best to help us and was humiliated. Linda returned to Self-Service and was trying to explain to Rose the trouble we were having and Rose just walked away. Not a great experience at our favorite neighbor store.
