I went in to find some cheap jeans that if they got ruined from crafting or something it wouldn’t be a huge deal. While I was trying them on my kiddo pulled one of the tags off a pair I was going to get. I slipped it in the pocket . It was a yellow tag. The colors were all but pink. We get to the checkout stand and the guy says he won’t sell them to me except with a pink tag and at a more expensive price than my other pairs and they would be non-returnable. I told him no thanks and he rang up the rest of my clothes. Upon looking at my receipt once I got home, he rang up a pair of mine at $8.99 as pink anyway instead of $7.99 yellow. Typically the employees are kind and helpful but this time it was a different story.

All sorts of stuff here. Many thrift stores have that dank smell and things are messy but Arc Thrift is very clean and well organized. They have a nice selection of books and old toys. If you like finding good deals, it's not hard to find good ones here. Check out Arc if you like good deals! There's something for everyone here.

Under pay and mistreat employees. Upper management uses the “nonprofit”tax break to make himself billions while using his Down’s syndrome son as a puppet poster child to fuel his false claims of philanthropy….Demonic tactics if you ask me but see for yourself.80% of the employees at this store are high on narcotics all day at work. I would know. I worked there for 6 months.Other than that, they have good items for good prices.Good place to shop, absolutely ridiculous place to work.I could add photos of in-store illicit activities since day one but I am not a tattle tale. Just want people to know. Some of us have morales, values, and loyalty. The same is not true for this company’s management.

I wouldn't recommend anyone shop here, especially if you ever need to return an item. When I tried to return a pair of pants that didn't fit, the manager's behavior was shocking. They not only refused the return but also used offensive language. A disgraceful experience that deserves no more than one star.

I don’t like sonny. He’s rude he talks down to me . This is my second experience with him. This is a charity that is supposed to make money and help people. He doesn’t even know what that means.

Very pleased with my visit to the arc today. Everyone was helpful and kind and everyone was in a great mood. There is nothing better than being around those who are in a great mood!

My favorite local thrift store! There are areas of improvement needed, but overall I do enjoy the large selection they receive for donations and the prices of items are great when you shop on Saturdays! And if you're military/veteran, you have Monday's as well to receive discount prices! With the amount of items they receive, they do a great job at keeping the store organized and clean for the amount of traffic of people that go in every day.I especially like the kids clothes and craft section at this location than the other 2 locations in Colorado Springs. With a thrift store, you're bound to come across items that are dirty, some damaged, broken or missing pieces and if you're lucky even brand new. It's used/ donated goods store, not Walmart. Everyone has access to all goods(with exception to the counter area that has the higher priced items), so things do get broken by the public after they are donated, priced and placed out on the shelf for display.

When it comes to thrift stores, I dont expect much, so this one met my expectations. The store has everything you might be looking for, clothes, decorations, books, etc. So, I was able to find variety in all the items I found. There were also a lot of good books here, I found the best sellers at a good price. And everything was in a good price range, for what it's worth. Although a few items had bugs (on them) and some were dirty. Overall, though, if you want to go to a thrift store, I don't really have anything bad to say about this one, so you should come here.

Honestly never had any issues with this loation. It might be a smaller store than the Academy location but the offerings are almost always more geared to what I am looking for at this particular location. Never had any issues with any of the staff.

I find the most incredible items at this ARC. Having learned to go shopping when the store opens in the morning, one can find the 'treasures'. And I have learned to look under/behind/on the sides of stuff in order to find treasures. You just never know what can be hiding. People stash items so they can buy it on Tues or Sat half off days. Sneaky.... lol!

I watched the manager speak so condescending & quite rude to a cashier, with the cashier looking so dejected afterwards. That is why it’s difficult for places to find workers willing to be treated as such while making not barely enough to survive right now. I understand the manager probably has a tough job, but at least try to treat staff with respect!!

Every time I stop in here, I find cool unique items for great prices. They always have a great book selection and cool vintage jewelry and handbags (many brand new). My recent find was this framed painting, which I really love. Please support The Arc and Goodwill stores by donating to them and shopping there, as they help people with disabilities in so many many ways.
