I will never take my car anywhere else. The team takes care of you, communicates very well, and gets things done quickly. My engine started having issues 2 days before I was driving out of town and they got me in right away. The car was fixed and running better than its had in years, by the next day! HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY. It's so hard to find in a mechanic business, so when I find one, I tell EVERYONE I know. I've had multiple vehicles serviced at Aspen Auto Clinic and every time, they've been very fast, efficient, and up-front about which repairs need to happen immediately and which can hold off for a bit. They don't try to up-sell or catastrophize with you as I've had many mechanics do to me. They're extremely resourceful in finding parts for the old-ish vehicles I like to drive.Plus - they're extremely nice and professional!I won't take my vehicles anywhere else and I tell all my family and friends the same. Where do I start? I have been meaning to write this review for over a year but haven’t been able to even think of the name Aspen Auto Clinic without cringing. My 2016 Mercedes GLC (my prized possession at the time) started having transmission issues only an expert could explain. My husband and I spent hours scouring the internet for mechanics after finding out Mercedes dealership/mechanics would take too long to get us in. We came upon Aspen with promising reviews and claims to be specialists in import and foreign vehicle repairs. The car went in for over a week with a whopping bill and not many answers. A few days later the car had the same problems and would only go into reverse. Aspen promised to fix it, finding the problem. When that work was done over a week later, we got a call to come pick it up with a warning that a technician had bumped the bumper of the car on a yellow pole while pulling it into the mechanics garage/building. They gave us their word that the damage would be covered by them. The damage was over 3k, and at the time auto body shops were backed up for months. Aspen was still trying to charge us! By this time we had to deal with two different managers (constant turn over of management). They never provided good communication, a rental vehicle or good service. We have felt totally duped but in a situation we couldn’t get out of without getting the vehicle repaired. Aspen was never able to complete the repair and we had to have it towed to another dealership for final repair. Months later, and renting a car on our own dime the car was repaired both mechanically and cosmetically with lots of headache in between. Aspen did hold true with holding up their end of the deal and paying for the damage they caused cosmetically. BUT they were never compassionate, accommodating or helpful. I would never recommend them in the end as we are left feeling traumatized and taken advantage of.Services: Transmission

In many ways I have had a great experience with this shop. My service advisor Eric was friendly and professional throughout getting my car repaired. They even worked with Kia to check on things that may be covered by them and what needs to be done first. My problem is every time I have to work with Rich. He acted super condensending from the first time I had an interaction. I dread having to go back to this location, as he is often at the desk ready to jump in with how much he thinks he knows. One employee like this can ruin the whole place.Services: Engine repair

Justin could be the worst manager of all time. Has an attitude, thinks he knows more than you, doesn't respond to voicemails or emails and treats customers like trash. As a reminder Justin, you schedule oil changes for a living. An hour and half for an oil change? Aka their horrible way of trying to up-charge you for things that are not necessary to your vehicle. Stay away.Update; Karen's Response below is a corporate response trying to save the company's image after multiple negative reviews. Read the reviews before mine. Situation;My oil was changed by a 'green' tech. Justin brought me out to the garage to meet said tech. They pointed all these things that they could fix for approx $2500+ as my vehicle was on the lift. This is a 2010 Acura RDX that is used and paid off. Btw I came here for an oil change. As we were under my vehicle (after oil change was completed), oil was clearly leaking from the tank. Since, my oil pressure light has come on and my oil life is reading low percent after 500 miles. Reached out to Justin, left message. Never heard back until a negative review was posted.

Frivolous spender? You have an extra $1000 to spend on your car for unexpected fixes? Not me. That is why I go here. Rich and Justin at the front got my back. They will do a full rundown of what is wrong and prioritize the cause and effect of each diagnostic. I am extremely confident with their assessment when I approve and disapprove work to be done. They understand that we are not rich men from Richmond and look to take care of me because most of us are in the same boat trying to make ends meet. There are other businesses that will do outstanding work with great service; but, it is convenient for me to not have to look any further and bring both my vehicles in for service and diagnostics. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a place they can rely on for their automotive needs.

These guys saved me thousands of dollars by suggesting I go through the dealer and have the service covered under the warranty. They could have so easily done the work themselves and made $10,000. So helpful and considerate.

Justin was friendly and professional. A Lot had to be done to vehicle but able to get vehicle back within 2 days. New to Colorado Springs and so glad I found Aspen Auto to take care of vehicle. Thank you everyone from master tech,Ian,and Justin!!

This is the worse place you could actually go too it's a scam all what I would say I took my 2014 bmw x6 for service and two things they did and they thought they won't get cut first they charged me close to 720$ for diagnose little the I know the actual BMW dealership will not charge you the much and they are approved dealer with bmw and Mercedes like that were saying also they charged me for parts which was a fuel injecter that's where I completely got lost I went to bmw dealership itself and I asked about the part and it was way less priced then what aspen auto clinic was trying to charge me and that's when I declined all the work and I had to take my car out and to the dealership so long story short this place will scam elderly folks I saw a lot elderly folks there and I feel bad if they know it will be cheaper getting their car done at their local dealership people usually will go to places like this for better price and good quality work but here at aspen auto clinic the wants the case the case was even an employee said that to me he said we make our money profit off the parts but that's wrong they want to charger me a 1000$ for one fuel injecter when it actually cost 560$ from the bmw dealership itself that's why blow my mind like how can you guys charge almost 500 more that's double the profit if that's the case so that's why I hope people can read this before going into there I live in Denver and I'm a local here and this was the worst scam I had to deal with

I have enjoyed my experience at Aspen Auto. They are friendly, polite, and are always prompt when communicating with me about my car. I love that when they do recommend services to me they send me pictures of the problem areas. Without feeling pressured, I was able to select which services I wanted to have performed via online. They are always straightforward when communicating with me and genuine. I can't say enough good things about Aspen!Services: Vehicle Inspection

Aspen auto was amazing. Their system and communication is well organized and clear. Rich was kind enough to go over all the issues with our vehicle and put together a plan of what to tackle first, and what could be postponed til later. First time customer. I usually take my vehicles to dealerships, but they couldn’t get me in for several weeks. So, I called Aspen Automotive and they got me in the very next day.Very professional and highly ethical. They kept me well informed throughout the process. The issue I had was intermittent and undetectable after initial investigation. No error codes were found. I was impressed with their integrity in that they did not feel comfortable performing any unnecessary service without knowing the exact cause of the problem.Based on the symptoms, we decided to replace the ETB. The price of the part and service was very reasonable. Furthermore, they gave me a lifetime warranty on the part and service. So far so good. No more problems. This place is HORRIBLE. Do NOT bring your vehicle here. My experience started off by calling and speaking to a tech named, Justin, to ask for an estimate for a diagnosis for what I knew to be an electrical issue on my 2016 Jeep Patriot and he informed me that there was no estimate because the diagnoses would be complimentary. (They later charged me $240 for this diagnosis--aka them plugging in a code reader-- and told me that their inspection is complimentary and not the diagnosis. Maybe their techs should learn that before they tell customers to come in for a free diagnosis!!) Fast forward to Thursday, the day of my appointment, I get a call and they tell me that the battery needed to be replaced and then proceeded to quote me at nearly $500 total (complete rip off!) for a battery/terminal cable replacement before moving on to any other diagnostic work. I told them to hold off because I could replace my battery myself for a fraction of their quote & when I arrived the following Monday evening to replace my battery myself, I came to find that my car was left UNLOCKED (this was after hours so no techs were there) and had various items stolen from it, including a very expensive pair of eyeglasses. After this, they called the next day to tell me that the issue was my crankshaft position sensor, (which I told them I previously replaced) and they proceeded to lie to me about it's location and then tell me it would take them 3.5 hours of labor, which alone, would cost $720 (also a complete rip off!). I ended up refusing their service, after having to pay $240 for them to give me the code and still having a broken down car. The part was faulty and was given to me for free replacement from a separate parts shop, and was able to be replaced within 45 minutes in my garage by removing a total of four bolts. I contacted them after retrieving my vehicle about them leaving my car unlocked and being ransacked to see if they had any surveillance cameras and they tried to say it was "tricky" because I went there to replace the battery even though the car was unlocked when I had arrived before then and I made sure to lock it because I was livid to find that they could be so careless. I spoke with multiple people and they have made no effort to get back to me or right their wrong in the case. DO NOT BRING YOUR SERVICE TO THIS SHOP. They are dishonest scammers.
