This is the best vet ever. I had to get my 14 year old dogs teeth pulled yesterday. The doctor did such a good job. They called and gave me updates throughout the process. Not only is the doctor great, but the vet techs and front desk are amazing too. Everytime I walk in they know my dogs by name and run up and pet them. While my dog was in recovery the tech cuddled with my dog on her break and watched over her like her own. That meant so much to me. They go above and beyond. I have been to MANY different vets throughout these 14 years and have not the best experiences. They are fairly priced and don’t over charge you like many vets. I trust them completely to take care of my babies. I can’t say enough about Austin Bluffs animal clinic.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Dorsett involves me in all the decision making for my pet and is very kind. Erin is the best Tech! Dr. Hand was so gentle and spent the time sitting on the floor with our small dog. He took the time to explain everything and all our options and included us in the decision making for our pet. The prices were fair.

A few months ago we brought our dog because he was having gastric issues. We told them that he is allergic to chicken and mentioned it a few times. They tried to put him on a low fat diet, which had chicken in it. Im not sure if the doctor wasn't lis tening or that's their typical way of treating this type of issue. I mentioned that after he was given his monthly heart worm medication this is when his gastric issues started. But they definitely didn't bother to look at that. Gave us a whole bunch of other medication like anti nausea which the side effects is diarrhea. This place is not about taking care of your pets. Extremely petty company and was upset of a "Google review" made. I believe when a company is passionate about animals they will do what it takes to take care of them. I would think twice before bringing your pets to this place.

After two years of bringing my dogs to this place, I left a review regarding the poor service I got from one of their Veterinarians on how they kept insisting to give my dog prescription food, which included chicken, when I mentioned multiple times, my dogs has a chicken allergy. I also mentioned how it seemed they always prescribed the same antibiotics and a bunch of other useless/expensive medication, no matter what we brought them in for and would only see them for one issue at a time instead of trying to help my dog with all his issues at once. I tried giving this place one last chance, but they got butt hurt over the review I made and deleted our account. My dogs are my family and their health and safety are my top priority and it seems like this place is all about money and their feelings, so I'm glad they canceled our account, because I wouldn't want to put the care of my babies in their sensitive, money hungry little hands.

I recently had a wonderful experience at a vet clinic. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Dr Dorsett is very knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my concerns about my pet's health. They provided thorough explanations and offered helpful advice. The clinic was well-maintained which also ensured that my pet received the best possible care. Overall, it was a positive experience that left me feeling confident in the well-being of my furry friend.

We stayed a few months in Colorado Springs and needed a vet for our pup. While it did take a few weeks to get an appointment, Austin Bluffs Animal Clinic took great care of our dog. After our appointment, we had multiple phone call/email exchanges with more information and answers to our questions. The front desk was extremely helpful every time we called as well. Highly recommend!

Austin Bluffs Animal Clinic provides great care to my dogs. The receptionist are quite knowledgeable and helpful with questions that I have had. My dogs are greeted by name also. I even decided to use their insurance since my pets need a variety of care. This has been so beneficial.

Absolutely the most money hungry animal clinic I’ve been to and it’s the same outcome no matter what I take my dogs there for; they prescribe you antibiotics and whatever pills they can squeeze in there, like metronidazole, for this visit, which cost $70 freaking dollars for 4 pills!?They don’t wanna listen to your opinion, even though you live with your dogs 24/7 and might know a few things about their symptoms, allergies etc.. I mentioned 4 times that my dog had a chicken allergy and they still kept insisting to give him canned food that had chicken until we had to straight up say “we’re not giving this to him”.You try and solve as many issues as possible while there, but they only wanna see you for one thing at a time and then tell you to bring him/her back to check on those issues at future appointments, so that they can tack on the $71.25 exam fee to each visit. When I see that my dogs clinical is more about money than the animals themselves, that’s when I no longer do business with them.

There is so much to say. My cat is my baby, and this was her first medcal procedure. Needless to say, I was more traumatized than she was. The intake tech was very understanding, and patiently took time to let my cat adjust and feel comfortable, as well as answering my questions and reassuring me. Even the front-desk people soothed my trepidation, so I felt confident that my darling would be returned to me in good condition. They even called the following day to ask how WE were doing. I can' t sing their praises loudly enough. Oh, and they even have a separate entrance for cats and dogs!
