“Since it's small business Saturday I had to write about my experiences at ProCycling. This is a shop that lives, eats, breaths, sleeps, and supports cycling. They have in my opinion two of the top bike mechanics in town. Their customer support staff is top notch, knowledgeable and go out of their way to take care of me every time I go there. Just the atmosphere of the shop is electrifying. It’s always such a positive experience.

On top of that ProCycling totally supports the cycling community of Colorado Springs. Their sponsorship of the Cheyenne Mountain High School Mountain Bike Team, Women’s cycling clubs and team, Pike’s Peak Velo, and their own shop team are obvious examples. What people don’t see is their community support behind the scenes. ProCycling is a big advocate of trail work and requires non-profit volunteer work from its sponsored riders. ProCycling’s owner, Bruce McGrew, was huge in organizing fund raisers and raising money to help the city purchase a large portion of Ute Valley and save it from being sold for “development”. Along with that ProCycling is a big supporter of “Kids on Bikes” consistently donating bikes, money, and time to their great cause.

“We've been considering E-bikes for a couple years now and finally decided now was the time. Justin was awesome! He was super knowledgeable and never pushy as we explained thay we wanted to try all the bikes at all the shops. He took our budget and desires very seriously. Ultimately, we couldn't pass up the bikes at Old Town Bike Shop. You just can't beat the customer service. Justin, Cat and John were so friendly and very helpful. Justin didn't even blink an eye when we walked in and told him we needed the bikes and all the other things that go along with them. He patiently walked us through all the options and the items we wanted. He quickly ordered everything we wanted that they didn't have in stock and communicated with us when they'd been ordered and when to expect them to be delivered to the shop. His communication was excellent and he was super responsive via email when we had a few questions about the bikes after we got them home. They have new customers for life!”

From apparel and complete bikes, to parts and special order items, they've always done their best to have what you need. They support the local cycling community and have skilled mechanics who are there to help you when the inevitable need arises for their skills (RIP my derailleur hanger).

A special shoutout to Renee Eastman, their bike fitter and professional coach. She helped dial in my Wife's Diverge despite the extra difficulty of hyper-mobility and nerve damage. It was a night and day difference between the before and after the fit.

I've been a repeat customer and will continue to be such for the forseeable future.”
