Cheyenne Mountain Estates is a community that residents describe as a wonderful place to live, with views you will not find anywhere else and a location just far enough away from the city. People have lived here for 10, 22, and since 2012, raising kids and forming lifelong friends. It is a pretty tight knit community where people come together to help their neighbours, with community get togethers, a nature walk, community gardens, and an updated clubhouse and pool area. The office has become a more open and welcoming space, and the office staff is the best, going out of their way to help the community through a community food pantry and organising a drive when a home burned down recently. The current management has worked tirelessly to bring residents together, and the owner brought in the right people, with staff attitudes that are refreshing, compassionate, down-to-earth, and fair. One staff member in maintenance is constantly on the move but never too busy to stop, answer a question, or share a kind word, and goes above and beyond, even off the clock, helping with trash bins, checking in on elderly residents, and fixing a bike. During a broken water pipe, the manager came around checking on the tenants and making sure everyone knew there was plenty of water available. The school bus comes up here and the school system is the best. Residents hope to see this positive trend continue for a community we can all be proud of.
