I never like giving negative reviews. I feel up until the last several months Costco pharmacy was good and that is the reason I kept using them. For people that have medications they NEED to take on a regular, it is not good to miss a day. Well with the recent Adderall shortage, I realize Costco not any pharmacy has control of that. After having several times where they couldn’t fill so my Dr was able to call in another type of Adderall (extended release)that doesn’t work as well but it was better than not taking any at all. This is something that I have had to take for over 15 years. So for example, Years ago-my fault, I waited too late for my medical medication check up so I had to go a week without my medication and after 4 days without I was in bed sleeping 16 plus hours not able to do my normal daily functioning things let alone go to work. I learned the hard way not to wait until the last min.Over 2 weeks ago I went into the Costco on Barnes because I had not received a text I normally get when my prescription is ready. They told me it was on back order. I asked when they receive will my script be filled? They said no. I would have to call in and keep checking if they have received it in. Surprised, I asked why I wasn’t notified that my medication I need was on back order and they don’t know when it will be (I was not called and notified) I confirmed that even if it comes in, my prescription would not be filled. I would have to call in and see if my prescription could be filled!?! I didn’t reach out in any negative way at that time. Again, Costco can’t control when or if they will receive. I reached out to my Dr to let her know(mind you I have drove from one pharmacy to another in the mean time with no luck). My Dr prescribed another medication that should work just as well, she called it in to the Costco on Barnes in Colorado Springs. Nothing the next day…. Two…three… I figured it maybe because of the Easter holiday so I had my Dr call it back in. I never heard from Costco again to let me know anything. I reached out after work and was told because of the Adderall shortage that this medication is now on back order and not sure if or when they will receive.Please understand I realize no pharmacy has control of the shortage and back orders but I feel I at least should get a notification or my Dr should be notified of this before we wait day after day. I have been patient I feel. I’m not ok at this point being off my NEEDED medication!! Please please understand Costco pharmacy I just have asked for communication!!! So very disappointed!!

Big thanks to the pharmacy team! They caught a prescription that was not age appropriate for my son. They contacted the Dr and got one that was a better fix. Great due diligence.

I am happy with this pharmacy compared to my last pharmacy. (Walgreens) The Staff is friendly and always takes the time to answer all my questions. my insurance is a nightmare and they never get upset when I often have to refuse some sticker shock refills of sometimes $300+.

I rrcentlt had an issue with an item that I purchased from Costco. I am not going to go onto the product however I want speak about the service I received from our local store on Barnes. They made my issue their priority. Michael H and Michael the manager were soooooo helpful and went above and beyond to help my wife and I in the exchange of an item that the manufacturer and that the extended warranty turned down. I am loyal to this store and now I can walk in with a smile and warm heart. Thank you so much. There was also a girl with curly hair may have been Annie or Mary that really also went superstar AMAZING!!!! Thank you so much!

Ordered two racks for about $260 apiece to hang from my garage ceiling only received one rack and called customer service to see where the other one was. They told me that it was returned to sender due to a packaging error. And they told me if I did not receive a new rack or at least a phone call from customer service within the next three days to call them immediately. Waited about six days to give Costco the benefit of the doubt and then had to call customer service again this time the guy acts like I had received it and then I was trying to steal one of the racks. I received a long skinny box and one wide box the white box contain the rack and the long skinny box contain the legs that hang from the ceiling but I was still missing the whole other rack just like the lady told me the first time I called customer service. Now that I've been treated like a thief they finally get me off hold and tell me that it did get returned to sender and that I would receive it within 6 to 10 days and that it was not going to be free and in fact I would get no discount or anything for the inconvenience. I am a veteran I have hard-earned money I don't need this rack for free I am just repeating what I was told by a Costco representative. But I think most places that are in the wrong should probably be willing to assist their customers especially at a place that relies on membership. I'm not saying I won't shop at Costco again buyer beware that if they mess something up you pay The price for the inconvenience.

Staff is very warm, friendly, and professional. Went for covid shot. Shot tech (not sure of actual tittle) was kind and very good at explaining everything you need to know.

I hate the crowding and the lines every time I go. About 2 weeks ago I was there and had only a few items in my cart, one of which was a 55 pound bag of dog food. All the checkers had lines so I went to one of the self checkout lines. Things started going south when I saw that there was no hand-held scanner. Really? Not feeling energetic that day I opted not to lift the bag to scan it (I am female, 69 and 5'5"-I can do it, but it takes a lot of effort), I looked around for help, but there were no available employees around. Finally one showed up with a scanner. Then when I tried to pay my card was rejected. I tried 2 other cards, and the third was rejected and the prompt said "push button for help"-which I did. Finally the same young hot-shot who had the scanner shows up and treats me very condescendingly as if I am an old idiot. He says "it took your card", do I have to stand here and hold your hand?". (so why does it says it didn't take my card?) So he leaves, and I wait for it to spit out the receipt which it doesn't. The next person has already come up to the register, so I decide to find another employee because I know without the receipt I can't get out of the store. I find two just standing there, and start explaining that I need my receipt when the arrogant young hot-shot comes running up with my receipt. He again treated me as if I was mentally incompetent, when it was just the register malfunctioning the entire time with very delayed reactions. Management: Please train your employees to always be polite and respectful, and please service your machines, providing hand-scanners at the self-checkout. The whole experience was so frustrating and I was treated so demeaningly, I really don't want to go back to your store now.

Ordered 3 appliances. Delivery nightmare. Belligerent and rude drivers/unloaders. Incompetent and didn't know what they were doing. We waited for night before phone call for delivery time. Did not receive phone call. Nightmare. Don't recommend buying large items for delivery from Costco. Awful!

You aren't allowed to reschedule your appointments with the pharmacy for vaccines. If you need to move your appointment at all, your appointment is just canceled and you have to call on the day you want to come in and hope there are vaccines available.I can understand this policy if you cancel on short notice, but it should be easy to move an appointment by 1 day.
