Customer I'm a preparer. This means I'll plan, check, and double check everything before arriving at any appointment.Last month, I made my appointment online and completed their online forms for an ID. The form submission and appointment scheduling process was simple and painless.I received two reminders: one via email and the other through text with a note to type "check in" upon arrival.I did and was instantly provided with an assigned window # to head to before even walking through the door. With the window number (shout-out to the lady from window #2), I was able to walk directly to the window and start my process with a very respectful, efficient, and professional lady.From start to end, it took me about 20-25 minutes. No hassle, no fuss. Just effective and efficient customer service.Note: Colorado law requires that you surrender your DL from other states regardless of if you get an ID or DL.

Then had aseat and waited a few minutes to have photo taken and temporary paper license printed. Friendly, efficient, and fast. In and out in less than half an hour. Overall pleasant experience.

If you ever have the displeasure of getting called to Amanda's desk (chubby Lady with dark hair In the far corner) just be prepared to deal with an unprofessional, useless, rude lady. She had a snappy, moody attitude from the start and seemed completely miserable. She couldn't answer the simplest question I had as well as told me "I have children your age trust me I understand" which I don't doubt she does but that had absolutely nothing to do with registering my car. She either wasn't paying attention or just misheard what I was saying at times then would incorrectly repeat information she thought I said acting as if I was contradicting myself but no she was just being difficult for no reason. I usually have a good experience here but since this is a government job I guess she doesn't see the need to be even a little professional.

Uneducated grumpy people working here who can't even do their jobs properly. I can't speak for everyone since I have only had experience with a few but management was wrong and continued to claim they were not. Save yourself the stress and go to another DMV and don't waste your time here. Disappointing. We filed a complaint with the state about them denying us service and giving wrong information.

This is a ripoff, bought a used car 20 years old and they want to charge me $800 in taxes and fees, for what ? You don’t even use our taxes to fix the roads. Or have working lights, or have decent RTA, SCAM, True Criminals Here. Stealing money.

worst DMV i’ve ever been to in my entire life. was told i didn’t have enough documents and then sent them where i needed too and was told i would be seen within the same day. they have had me waiting for 4 hours without any glance. i was told the person that was helping me is on lunch so after waiting for her to get back im still not helped in ANY WAY. it took me 2 weeks just to get to this appointment and this is the only time i have to get this done.

Two weeks to get an appointment is unacceptable. Even with an appointment you wait and wait and wait. Get more efficient or open an additional facility. We should be able to get service in a reasonable timeframe given all the trash fees you charge us. Your system is broken.

So that was weird, in a good way... in and out in less than 10 minutes. Had an appointment. Everyone seemed a lot friendlier and easy going compared to my last visit 10 years ago. I was bummed I couldn't get an appointment sooner, but now I understand this system is a lot easier

Nicole, Charyln are the most disrespectful public service workers I have ever met, they contradict their own paperwork and have no idea what they are doing what so ever. It takes for customers to get mad for anything to get done. And then when you give them the same treatment they give you they try to intimidate you with a old bald security guard who is also disrespectful.Just be better.

Best DMV in the country and I’ve traveled around. Half an hour to register a new car and apply for plates. Friendly staff, smiling.WOW. Good job guys!
