We are very pleased with the results of our kitchen and dining room remodel. Lisa did an excellent and creative design with her CAD software, which gave us a very realistic view of how things were going to look. The "before" printouts and the "after" reality were perfectly matched! She also saved us a ton of time by having all of the selectable items (that we liked) in their store, like cabinets, tile, etc. As a result, we couldn't believe how quickly the design phase was completed.Once all the materials were in hand, DreamMaker's Mike was the main contractor to do the hands-on work (plus his subcontractors). He was extremely fast, personable and talented. And a nice guy to have in your home for the duration. One thing about DreamMaker - you get the impression of not just great talent, but especially integrity - you just know they won't leave you in the lurch if something crops up down the road.Judy and I are planning to have them remodel our master bath soon. Who else but the best?

DreamMaker turned a 2nd bedroom in my basement into a kitchen to make our in-law apartment complete. When Lisa did her initial imaging it was like she was reading my mind. Mike did an absolutely amazing job. I'm in love with my new kitchen! It's perfect!!!Services: General construction

This retired senior has been pondering whether to down-size from my current 1970's era home, or do some major $$$ upgrades. I'm glad I had the chance to discuss my options with DreamMaker.Lisa is obviously competent, experienced, and CREATIVE. She was beyond patient explaining an abundance of things to consider to get the best "bang for my buck".Clearly, the high quality of work that DreamMaker puts into projects wouldn't be appropriate if I wanted to do just enough for a quick sale in today's market. However, if I decide to invest what it takes to end up with a forever home I can enjoy and take pride in for decades to come, I'll definitely get a bid from DreamMaker.

After meeting with the owner and designer a few times, I felt like this company could do a good job for me. Most of the reviews were positive and nothing they said or did at this point set off flags. So, I signed a contract and paid over 15k upfront. At that time, they claimed covid, supply chain issues, and work load would push the start date out 6-8 months from this point. I called after 7 months and the owner said the job might start in a week. A month after that, I still received no materials, no scheduling, and no start date. When I asked for proof of purchase (wondering where all my money has gone for the time passed), I was refused. I asked for my money back. I was refused. What they did do is call the police to threaten trespassing charges and played the victim claiming breach of contract because I no longer want to work with them. All this was done with such speed and efficiency, I wonder if this is the actual business model.Negotiations brought to light that they had bought and received all materials to do construction within 2 months of the signed contract and they padded costs claiming over 80 hours of design work. The owner still asserted he did nothing wrong and had retained a good enough lawyer to back him on this. Again, making me question the actual business model of this construction company. The owner tried to add removal of reviews as part of his settlement with me. A reputable company doesn’t have to do this. Reputable companies are too busy conducting the work they contracted to do.If you choose to conduct business with this company, edit the contract for a hard start date no more than 3 months after the sign date. Edit the arbitration clause too. If he won’t agree to your terms as well, walk on.And for Gold Star and Silver Star families, this business will divest you of the legacy your loved one gave you with a smile and kind words, if you let them. I strongly advise you go elsewhere.

This review is WAY overdue. My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Michael and Lisa at DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen. We have been nothing but pleased with the results of our kitchen makeover. When we started, the kitchen was light oak and dark counters with outdated flooring and fixtures. Now, it‘s bright and inviting with grey bottom cabinets and white upper cabinets, a new island and white marble countertops. Lisa was awesome with paint choices for the space!Would work with them over and over again and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality remodel.Services: Paint indoors

I signed a contract and paid over$15,000 more than 8 months ago. They have no one to do the job, I have not seen evidence of materials purchased for the job, and there is no start date in sight. I was denied a full refund and instead wants to pay for arbitration. And as insult to injury, they called the police to warn me trespassing charges would be filed if I came to their office. You've been warned.

Michael and Lisa worked with me to re-imagine my kitchen. It was a brown, basement man-cave and now it's a beautiful blue/white functioning kitchen. Michael did most of the work himself.Service: Kitchen remodeling

Don't confuse this business with the bathroom renovation drama story from several months ago. They are absolutely not affiliated and have a friendly and knowledgeable staff who do quality work that speaks for itself -- thank you!

Will be in contact. Not sure how you have tried to contact me or if you have reviewed our "seven year" issues since things have been installed in our house, but look forward to hearing about your black mold removal methods! Please contact me through text or email so we have a written record of communications, thank you! You state you have tried to contact me multiple times - how?(EditL Just emailed the company with:"Hey! You responded to our review online. Certainly you have a service record of our home modifications. I'll just say that both your bath and shower have plagued us with black mold since the time of install, and your installer's solution was to toss bleach in our walls and state that things were done. I'm not very happy. Do you keep service records?")We'll see if they are willing to communicate through text, because their vocal communications cannot be trusted without explicit contracts. We were told our "seven year old bath" issues were out of contact two years after install. Which, of course, was when everything broke down. Before you use this company I'd suggest contacting people happy with their work 5-10 years down the line. Unless they offer mold mitigation beyond throwing bleach in your walls.)If the company disagrees with this I hope they have service records. Thanks!Service: Remodelling

My error. The insane violent home remolding business in your community has potentially damaged your business reputation. I'd sue them if I were you. I altered my review as your company name is so similar to the thug business that uses sledgehammers to destroy property and threaten women. We'll trust DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen doesn't do that.

If you ever want to be in tears because a company installs a new hot tub as part of your $100,000 remodel that you pay cash for, this is your place! Our overflow valve leaks into our wall now and we were told this was working as intended when it floods our basement. Stay away from this company unless you enjoy throwing money at making black mold in your walls.
