Poor customer service. I returned one item for an online order of several items. I had a $5 off coupon for my order with no $$ minimum purchase amount requirement. I questioned WHY the took the $5 off of the one item I returned when I had other items in the order. They could not offer an intelligent reason so the ultimately responded with "Well that's just the way it is". I'm not causing a scene about $5 so I left with that as my 'explanation' Won't be back - in store or online.

Today I needed to go to this store to return an online item. The woman in front of me in line was treating the cashier employee, Jenny, with such a nasty attitude as she was not prepared with any of her online return paperwork for Jenny to process. Jenny did everything she could to ensure the return could process with the lack of information provided. This naturally had to take time and she was doing this with such patience and politeness. In the end she was successful in the returns and needed a manager approval (this is normal in retail) and the customer had the nerve to say in a hostile way that she spends a lot of money and doesn’t understand why it had to be this hard… continued to berate Jenny. Jenny was professional and remained in her calm demeanor. Once it came to my return, Jenny processed mine smooth and fast. Thank you Jenny! And this store is well kept and the managers are kind as well.

I would not recommend shopping at Eddie Bauer to anyone. The customer service was so poor and I was happy to get out of the store. This has become a pattern the last three or four times I have been there, and I don't believe I will be going back. The customer service worker today was Jennie

I like this Eddie Bauer store and have gotten some high quality clothing here. Just make sure you join their frequent shopper club, and hit them on sale days. Otherwise the experience can be expensive.

The store refused to accept a defective product (zipper & seams) because I purchased the shorts more than a year ago. Corporate also refused to accept the product for similar reasons. The Eddie Bauer Guarantee says: "defective products purchased more than one year earlier, are only eligible for exchange or replacement with a similar item." It appears that if the product is more than 1 year old, Eddie stores and the company no longer will stand behind the product.

The Customer Service was amazing! Everyone working was helpful, attentive, pleasant, and genuine. I haven't really been 'out shopping' in a bit bc no one ever says hello, can I help you... it was really, really nice to have an 'old school' shopping experience, where the associates cared and paid attention. ThANK YOU, for real.

After being very discouraged on my quest for new jeans I stopped in here as a last ditch effort. I was amazed that an outdoor focused store actually had more options of jeans than the four other stores I visited in this shopping center! After I had a few options in hand a employee asked me if I wanted a dressing room and took me back there. The whole store was very clean to include the dressing room and there was a large mirror so you can check yourself out while trying on things. I found two pairs of jeans that fit amazing and were already half the price that neighboring stores were charging. On top of that they were having a sale and on top of the sale they do a discount for military, first responders, and teachers!!!!!!!The staff member that I worked with was awesome and even gave me her thoughts on the fit of the jeans when I was unsure. Great place for outdoor gear and jeans!

I am new here in Colorado Springs. I started shopping at the Eddie Bauer store at Briargate Shopping center shortly after we got here in July, 2022. EVERY time I shop there has been a good experience. Sam (the manager) runs a great store. Everything is well organized. ALL of the associates working there are SO helpful, it's actually kind of amazing. I am not a new customer of Eddie Bauer, but this has by far been THE BEST Eddie Bauer I have shopped. Even during the busiest times before Christmas, with long lines and sometimes fussy customers, the associates have been cheerful, kind and SO HELPFUL in every way. I have shopped at this store about 10 times since I moved here and it's been consistently great. I have always appreciated Eddie Bauer's quality and style, but this new store experience has made me a loyal, life long customer. I bought myself and my husband some great gifts for Christmas - he loves them, and he is hard to please, believe me! A big thank you goes out to Sam, as she always remembers me and says "Hello!" All of this has made me feel so welcome as a new resident of Colorado Springs and so welcome in this community. Thank you so much!

Our closet boasts a good number of Eddie Bauer items. We love their winter fleece shirts and jackets. On this particular visit I was ready to buy several Christmas presents for the love of my life (Jeff) and for our family and friends, but must admit this winter's offerings were bit underwhelming - found only one present this time. Look forward to seeing new styles come in meet year.

Friendly but don’t honor the Eddie Bauer Guarantee… I just said ok, didn’t argue and left. However, they should know the Eddie Bauer Guarantee and you don’t need a receipt.“We design all our products to last, and we test and manufacture to the highest quality standards. I bought Eddie Bauer long sleeve T-shirts a year ago, and I’ve rotated and worn five different colors on and off in the past year. I wear them under sweaters sometimes and under flannel shirts. They all look terrible in one year or less, with pilling on every shirt. I emailed Eddie Bauer and got a reply but I could make returns if my products were ynworn. Well they are worn and they were terribly and washed up terribly so I will not be buying any more Eddie Bauer T-shirts

I am giving a 2 star review, because some of the staff is kind and nice and deserve a 5 star and the other part of the staff is not nice at all and deserve a 1 star. Also I was doing a return and just learned they have a new policy of not giving back the coupon when it is sent in an email and used online to buy something and that something turns out to not fit. That is super sad, as their sizing for women can be very bizarre. One time you wear a small and the next a XXL and that is totally true. They used to give it back so you could use it on something that fits. I do not understand this new policy at all. Don't they want you to find something Eddie Bauer that fits and you want to wear? Their name is all over their stuff and you would be promoting their name. I know this policy is the policy of Eddie Bauer and not just this location, but this location is part of Eddie Bauer. Bev is really a wonderful employee.
