We are on a keep full program and they have let us run completely empty twice with a one year period. We pay religiously. When you request an emergency fill due to their incompetence, they act like they care and say someone will call you to address the concerns, but the phone never rings because it was a hollow promise.Aside from them letting us run out, I discovered that the propane got to 15% right before a sub-zero event and let them know. They waitied 4 days to come and deliver. In short, we got to fumes. You will have to sign a contract to get the keep full program going, but hey, they don't honor it anyway.Follow Up.... Upon arriving home from work, I did find the tank full, so they did come out and fill the tank after several hours. The invoice attached to the tank had the record of the fill, but it also added a $200 emergency delivery fee! They let it run out in violation of the keep full agreement, and want to suck another $200 out of us. I don't think so!

Customer service says they're open beginning at 8. Waste of time to start calling them then because after going through endless automated prompts, you still get the recording that you need to call back during normal business hours. Then when they finally are open, be prepared for very long wait times to talk to a live person. Employee owned, and the result is like customer service like you'd get in the Soviet Union.

Contacted via chat on 11/28/23 for delivery, was told would be 12/5, contacted again on 12/11 was told would be delivered that day. No delivery, have been trying via chat and phone to get ahold of someone to find out if I will actually get delivery....crickets....just automated phone system that tells you that and order is in and then hangs up on you and been on chat 2 times once for over an hour and again for over 1/2 hr

I am beyond furious ! They took the money from my account. Yet are IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of. I am running out of propane, it is paid for, yet no propane delivered !!!!!!!

Horrific company and customer service. Have tried to get a delivery for over 8 weeks with no success, and now we are down to 5% in our tank. Very likely we will be out of heat and hot water in the next day, and no matter how many calls are made we are told there’s nothing they can do. Will be pursuing legal action if they allow our tank to go empty. Absolutely unacceptable!

Stopped in on a Friday to get a 20 lb re-certified, but the person who does the re-certification is only there Mon-Thur afternoons. It would better if the company mentioned this information on their website.

When they let you run out of propane for three days in row and the temperature in our buildings is 40 in one and 38 in the other and my employees are threatening to go home, that is terrible service. I called both the home office and the Colorado springs office and and could not talk to anyone. Of Course, automated lack of service to customers. They ran us out one month ago and did not even help to restart our heaters. Their system is not good.

I do not like that when I call to get filled up that I am redirected to another state. The people I talk to in other states try to be very helpful but every state has different restrictions and they do not know the rules for the state I am calling from. I would rather get a call back then to have to talk to another state that does not know the set up I have in the state I'm in. Sorry because of this I have to give one star.....I love my local peeps! They know me and take good care of me. They are the best!!!

These guys are GREAT! I'm in a bit of a more difficult area (the foothills southwest of Colorado Springs) but they come up on time and as expected when I call. They're great! ZERO complaints.

We asked for a delivery on Jan 21, 2022. Our tank was just above 30%, we received a delivery date of Jan 31st 10 days later. That delivery date then changed to Feb 4th. On Feb 4th they never came and changed the date to Feb 8th. WE are about to run out of gas, I left a message over the weekend and have now been on hold for over an hour. Having to listen to them say they take the "pain" out of propane while on hold just feels like insult to injury. IT has been nothing but PAIN since placing our order! How can they not answer the phone in over an hour?! and have no one to contact over the weekend. They had no problem taking our money on the 21st with ZERO communication about why they keep bumping our delivery making us run out of gas I sure hope we don't run out of gas and no heat in these cold temps. Extremely disappointing, stressful and frustrating.

Ferrellgas has been a good company for us with the exception of pricing. Why do they continue to price at 50% higher than the current market? ALWAYS ASK THE PRICE BEFORE FILLING!

Times are rough right now and I get it. I'm a nurse and I literally work on the front lines of the COVID 19 pandemic. My husband and I bought a camper so I wouldn't have to stay in a hotel, so I can be close to home. I needed gas to run the heater. My husband said go to Ferrellgas. I did. With my 3O pound tank I pulled into the parking lot. There was a sign out front. "Propane Tanks Filled Here" Great! I'll have heat in time form e next snow storm expected tonight. NOPE!! As I stepped out of my truck this crazy lady started banging on the office glass and using the finger across the throat sign. Not great! I got back into my truck and started to pull out when I saw a worker walking across the parking lot. I asked about getting my tank filled. He explained how this guy and that guy were out and there was no one to fill the tank. Why the sign I ask? " Oh that shouldn't be there" Whatever. If it's s not supposed to be there, then why is it there? I get that people are freaked out, but put up your "closed" sign. Jesus. And yes...I rolled my window down, shot the crazy lady a finger and yelled FY. It felt good...to release to that tension. Proceed with caution...

It is sad that I have to do this but I must tell my truth. So yesterday I called to make payment and I had asked if they'd applied my veteran discount, I was informed that it was applied. So I called my sister who got a delivery the same day and she said she paid the same price and she is not a veteran? It's kind of upsetting when someone tells you they give you a discount and they really didn't. Up until this point I loved this company...
