I make a point to stop and shop at this bookstore every time I can. It's absolutely a wonderful wonderful bookstore.

I have so many amazing things to say about this place. First off, you can't be a free place to take the kids when it's snowing outside. Talk about a great value. They have coffee and hot tea that you can make and take while you explore the interactive kid's areas including a play are with an airplane, slide, and iPads. There are also themed rooms including a Chronicles of Narnia room where you walk through a wardrobe into Narnia. They also have a firefighter room, a soft play area, a theater with dress up clothes and puppets, and even a kid's radio station. There is also a soda shop with snacks and drinks. Then there's the bookstore itself. It's large with its a lot to free including amazing clothes, Horne decor, kid's section, tons of books, and jewelry. The staff was friendly and helpful and we even managed to get a great deal on all the fun things we bought. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful place. It’s staffed and maintained very well. Even if you don’t follow Adventures In Odyssey, its magical. The three story slide is the highlight for my kids, and the bookstore is the highlight for me.

Stopped by during vacation. The kids had a blast. There is quite a bit to do here, especially with the Adventures in Odyssey section. They have a play area, shops, a radio station where you can record your own Odyssey adventure and plenty of exploration. It's all free (outside the shops). You can burn a few hours here. The bookstore was nice it had a decent selection. Some of the prices seemed a little elevated but it was quality stuff. I would recommend this stop to anyone looking for something to do indoors with the kids.

The Focus on the Family Welcome Center was truly a highlight of our family vacation. We have 3 children ranging from 7 to 1, and they all loved it. The welcome center is entirely free and a fun place for children to run around and explore. Dining at Whit's end was affordable and kid friendly. We intended on staying for an hour or two based on what we had been told, but ended up being there for about 6 hours!

A fantastic wonderland of faith and fun! It's hard to describe the play area, the closest analogy I can think of would be like a giant escape room, but for kids. Lots of augmented reality, props, fake trees, caves, and even an airplane! If you need the kids entertained for a day, this is the place!

If you grew up like I did, listening to Adventures in Odyssey, this place will bring back so many childhood memories, best part is the 3 storie slide and getting ice cream from the one and only Whits End Ice Cream shop! All in all this is a fun place to go to for all ages.

Ahhh!! We got to visit Whit's End! It has been over 10 years since we have stopped in. We decided to bring my kiddo and let her see the kid's area, theaters etc. There is a food/beverage area down there as well! The bookstore had a lot of different materials, and I actually found what I had been looking for! We are learning the Books of the Bible and I needed a fun book or chart to help my children remember them in order. They had a colorful chart with the names of the Books of the Bible on the frontside and on the backside it's blank for you to fill it in. Also, I found black and white Bible tabs for my child to color and then attach to her Bible. Fun place to explore!

Growing up listening to adventures in Odyssey and visiting when I was younger it was only highlighted even more by taking my kiddos to experience fun and the truths that focus on the family as continue to proclaim over the years. Definitely ain't worth a visit if you're in the area! The staff and the facility is clean and fun and you have to try the slide!!! ?

Really nice bookstore with lots of parenting book options, children's books, bibles, journals, home decor, clothes, educational entertainment and more. They have a sale running that is 20% your purchase during "happy hour" (about 3p till they close at 5:30p)

Having dyed hair & earrings (I’m a guy) was enough to put all eyes on me. I felt like I was being stalked. How many times does a person have to say “I’m wandering the books. If I need help, I’ll ask.” in various verbiage. “Are you looking for anything in particular?” - “Nope”. And on and on and on. It felt like they were treating me as if I were going to steal something. — Not my style. And definitely not my style with this place. It’s a right-wing propaganda machine. To each their own. After 15 minutes of constant interruptions, I had to get out of there. If I ever cross their threshold again, I’m going to ask where I can find books about the civil rights movement & Jim Crow laws.

Going here for the first time was more amazing than we imagined. The atmosphere is so serene and you definitely feel a sense of peace and quiet. My husband and I really enjoyed our time away from home while while attending this facility.
