this place is a joke! They are derelicts from the Home Depot CEO on down to the manager at the local level. As a guy who owns both a Commercial Plumbing Contractor's license and a Commercial Mechanical Contractor's license [1 of 17 people in the county to own them both]; a guy with 30+ years of experience in the pipe trades and HVAC trade, half of them as a small business owner, I do not let my folks go to Home Depot ... it's a good thing I don't have to go here often; thank heaven's for professional Plumbing & HVAC supply distributors, because there is nothing professional about Home Depot.Inevitably going there, always turns into a cluster-flop. What should take 15 minutes to accomplish everywhere else take an hour to accomplish at Home Depot ... these folks have a serious DILLIGAFF attitude. Don't believe me? Just go there on a snow day. Nobody shows up on snow days. See how long the wait is on a snow day.No matter, you're always tracking some thing down because the stuff isn't in the aisle the website says it is; and more often than not, the price is more expensive than what the website lists it as.So, if you're quoting a price for a job, plan on losing if you're using Home Depot pricing.Today, I went there for some basic peel and stick vinyl tile to fill in a void for a ADA sink project I was working on. The website says you could buy the tiles individually, but at the checkout they say you have to buy a whole case. And of course the price wasn't the same at the register as it was labeled on the shelf. Is Home Depot that hard up that they are cheating their people? Or are they just to lazy to change the price tags on the shelf and on their website? In the military I was forced to attend "Total Quality Leadership School" in order to advance. Basically, it was all about attention to detail, setting standard operating procedures and finding ways to make things go smooth. I think the folks at Home Depot go out of their way to throw a monkey wrench into their operations. Either that, or they got their heads so far up their sixes they need an opti-pupil opti-rectomy.The Home Depot management needs to experience some negative reinforcement, because its obvious that the pat on the head they have been getting/giving with their current management style is not doing the trick.Seriously, If these guys worked for me I would tie a tin can to their six and send 'em packing. And then their is the veteran's discount thing ... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't .... it works fine if you buy stuff on their website, but in the store ... it's AFU ... which is SNAFU ... that acronym should be Home Depots' motto ... "situation normal all flipped up!" ... [You may have heard it differently!]There have been many times I left my cart full of stuff at their register, if the product wasn't sold explicitly at Home Derelicto, you can bet your six, I'd have left them there at the register and walked out.Took me one trip to the register to find out that they didn't sell the tiles individually. Another trip to find out my veteran's discount didn't work at the register, and another trip to customer service, where the manager was too chicken show his face to address the situation personally.Nobody, online or in person, can explain why the veteran's discount does not work in the store. I asked ten different people and got ten different answers and none of them resolved the situation. I spent two hours trying to fix it; to no avail!Nevertheless, I did get my tiles at the price listed at the shelf price, and the veteran's discount; but only after i called them out for being the derelicts they are.If matching tile were available elsewhere, or they'd have been willing to re-tile the whole bathroom, I'd have gone and gotten it elsewhere. Home Depot is despicable. If you've got time to waste, Home Depot is the place for you.

I went in for one purpose and the lady at the customer service desk told me where to go and then followed me to make sure I found what I needed.I didn't get her name but she was very helpful and I appreciated her help very much.

The return/exchange line was extremely slow. But once I got thru the line, HD employee was very nice, understanding, and helpful!! I've never had any issues with making returns or exchanges with store receipt. And everywhere is short on employees, so it wasn't their fault for long line? I recommend that location a bunch prob adding to the longer lines...LoL

This Home Depot is the worst. Nothing is ever in stock compared to surrounding locations. Security stands around looking at their phone as crackheads try to break into customers vehicles. Forget about pickups also, they take so long I may as well pick the items myself. Employees are pleasant as usual for HD but the Management is in need of serious refinement.

We went to get our paint mixed . Bit hard when two people want opposite colors but Home Depot took that we finally chose a color we could relate on and Home Depot mixed it just right for us. They listen when you have a DIY project. And give great feedback! Thanks Home Depot!

Terrible customer service, checked in at curbside pickup, waited an hour and a half and no one showed, go inside to customer service and they ask if I would like to pick up my order. No, I just wanted to make sure you were alive, I'll go sit back in the truck till you ca make it out! Management really needs yo reevaluate their training!!

I ordered flooring and backsplash. I understand it was over their 90 day policy. I called ahead of time and spoke with Susan and she told me it looked like it “might” work. When I got to the store, Becca was the one “helping” me with one other girl. Both did not make the attempt to try and see if I could return it. Becca was very unprofessional, I could feel she was frustrated with us, she walked away and said “good luck”.Susan proceeded to help us after overhearing. I just wanted to say you need more employees like Susan. Very patient, professional and kind. And maybe have people better trained on your systems, the new and the old.

Got there and it took 15 minutes before somebody could help us find the tool I needed. They spent another 10 minutes looking. Finally found it, but was told the person can't reach it. It'd be around another hour before they could reach. They said to just come back. I drove 30 minutes to this location because it was the only one who had it.

*MILITARY LIVING ON POST/BASE BE AWARE!!*So this is a GENERAL notification because I had to do calling and research. The personnel at the store do not know that delivery ON BASE/POST is ONLY DONE on Tuesdays and Saturdays via a third party that no one has contact information on whether it be email, phone numbers, names, etc. maybe this is a base/post thing as all trucks have to be stopped at the gate and inspected and all drivers must be cleared to enter. Please don’t go in and purchase ANY large appliances and think your scheduled date/time is guaranteed! It is highlighted on the page AFTER you’ve purchased because not ONE EMPLOYEE is notified of the delivery scheduling nor will they be able to do anything! We purchased our washer and dryer and scheduled a date. We got an email the night before immediately rescheduling our delivery a week later and the time is literally ALL DAY from 0600-2000 hrs and NOT a four hour window! Delivery is tomorrow, the 12th. I was not notified AT ALL of a four hour window. When I called the store, the rep who answered the phone told me it’s an all day thing as stated in the email I received on the 5th when I was rescheduled to the 12th without any other notice. I have a lot of appointments and no one contacted me for a four hour window. BE AWARE!!! NO ONE AT THE STORE OR THE 800 # WILL BE ABLE TO HELP YOU! You can only reschedule 48 hours prior to the delivery date. It’s already a busy season and you are limited to two days. I am NOT WAITING for yet ANOTHER later date without any confirmation! This is not good business practice and it’s not fair to the consumer or the poor employees at the store to not know this basic information and avoid any issues reflecting poor customer service. Yall need to update your “Delivery Guide” for deliveries on any closed facility to reflect the only two days available and also say the delivery IS NOT DONE BY ANY HOME DEPOT EMPLOYEE and NOT given a window. The day of delivery is just that and ALL DAY should be cleared to be around for delivery. But I’m just a girl. What do I know about customer service, communication, or training of employees to give the utmost to your clients? You’re putting way too much emphasis on electronic purchases and there are still those people like myself who like to walk in to touch and look at the product before it’s purchased. There are still a lot of people like myself who like to talk to a REAL PERSON hoping they are the subject matter expert so that road blocks like this can be avoided. It is not nice to play with peoples time and hard earned money. Please fix this matter. I don’t care if you have to print it out and put it at all the registers for your employees to ask the question. I don’t care if you flag it in your system to input addresses and cannot continue unless the question is asked if it’s being delivered on base/post. I don’t care if you make it a mandatory handout on red paper for each customer once purchase is complete, but NOT being in some kind of communication with a third party delivery and giving a general ALL DAY delivery with ZERO contact information after I’ve spent over 2k is unacceptable.
