I love shopping at JCPennys! This review is for the salon. I went in over Christmas Break for a cut and color. My first time with this salon. I booked online. I’m not sure if this was the way to go. I checked in at the desk and went to the waiting room. I sat and sat. Finally someone asked me if I was checked in. I said I thought so. They went to check. Yes I was and the stylist was running a few minutes behind. Ok. The stylist did check in with me and said they just don’t schedule enough time. I lost track of time and when I looked at the clock it had been almost an hour since I had been checked in.The color came out ok except for my roots. I color my hair dark brown with a little red and usually go to a local salon but I couldn’t get in right away so I thought I would go to Pennys. I noticed when I got home my roots were more of a dark orange. I also got my hair snipped/trimmed about a half an inch. Which was ok but when I looked at the itemized bill, the trim was 35 dollars! No layers, nothing was done with my bangs. I did hear a lot of discussion among the stylists about goals and their personal lives. Needless to say my first time is the last time I will go to this salon.

Disappointed as a new credit card member they would not let me use coupon for clearance item. Only had 1! Only had one restroom!!Fitting rooms clean. Lots if staff to help in store.

Great store with a lot of options and deals, especially around Christmas. Great place to shop for any last-minute items.My only reason for not giving a five-star review is that they would not honor the online price of one of the cookware sets. So instead of having the item I need before Christmas, it’ll be late because of this nonsense.

Double check your receipts and make sure the cashier does her job. I'm out $50 in rewards and $40 in discounts because she was in a hurry and couldn't be bothered with doing her job right when all she had to do it scan a barcode on my phone

Of the 5 cars in the parking lot, I was the only one at curbside pickup. After checking in online, I waited 30 minutes before finally going into the nearly empty store to pick up my order. The kid at the counter had trouble finding my order even though I gave him the order number and the phone number the order was under, which resulted in another 10 minute wait.

There is a reason I shop there once a year or so, hoping they will get better. Annnnd, they don't.Stopped by there because it was convenient; I was in the area of their store. Found a pair of jeans in my size, bought them and went about my errands.Got home that evening, looked at my receipt and discovered they charged me like $70 for the pants. I could have sworn I looked them up online and they were under $50. Looked at the website and sure enough, they were under $50.Next day I went back (Sunday) at 10:00am... Turns out, they don't open until 11:00!!! On a Sunday in December (before Christmas)!Went back at 11am to customer service. Told them what was up. Thinking maybe I was simply mischarged or something. Apparently not. The woman (super nice, not her fault) scanned the barcode, looked it up online compared prices, confirmed they were under $50.Then she told me they wouldn't credit me the difference and that online and in-store prices were totally different.So I had to return the pants and then order the same exact pants, that were in my hand, online through the website! ?How does that make even remotely logical sense?! Anyway, I went back to my house and at halftime of the football game I was watching, I ordered the pants online; FROM KOHL'S ! Because they were the same price, JC Penney is not the only store (especially online) and I attempted to patronize my local store and it apparently is discouraged.Well, it worked. ?-As a note, if I ordered them from JCP online, I would have had the option to 'ship them to store' for free; the exact same store I bought them from, and then returned them to originally, because they wouldn't honor the online price.*Head explodes*

The ladies in the makeup department were phenomenal, helped me find the perfect brand and color match foundation for my skin which I haven't had luck in years. Thank you Candy,Kim and Andrea it was byfar an awesome shopping experience!
