To put it mildly I HATE SHOPPING AT JOANN'S. It always takes TOO LONG to just go buy ONE THING!!!! Always one long line to cut fabric and another long line to pay. IT IS THE MOST ANNOYING PLACE I HAVE TO SHOP

First time shopper and I have to say it was such a great experience. The selection was great and the customer service was top notch! I forget the name of the lady that helped me (cashier 866475) but she was an absolute delight to speak with! She made my day.

Wish I could give negative stars. Every time we come in here the employees are rude, and over all bad service. The store manager Bryan is very unprofessional. Does not even want to help with costumer service. The product we were trying to get fixed sense it was falling apart he did not want to deal with and told us pretty much to get lost. I would not recommend this store. We walked into hobby lobby and the customer service was much better and they were willing to work with us. Please don't go to this Joann's it's a waste of time.

My husband bought me a sewing machine here. He asked three different people if it could be returned. They said yes as long as it’s not opened. I got to the cashier and Skyler told me that they don’t return sewing machines. She then said that she would only return it for a $25 restocking fee, I said this was never mentioned to my husband. She then said it never is. Thanks Skyler for admitting that you guys are trying to con people. You lost my business.

How do you work in a fabric store and can’t help one bit. Ask a questions and nothing check out and can help with anything. Stupid don’t hire people who aren’t willing to help!!!!

I ordered my fabric and notions online on Cyber Monday and there has been NO activity to process my order and no answers to my queries about my order from customer service.Do NOT use Joann Fabrics online ordering, even if they offer reduced or free shipping -- I should have just driven to the store. With the reduced shipping offer I thought, why not? I'd save on gas and get it in a couple days. Wrong! Also, writing to customer service is like calling into the black cyber abyss -- no answer. Now I can't proceed with my Christmas projects -- I'm out the money, have none of my purchase, and customer service won't answer.

i understand working in retail and being overwhelmed with holiday rush every here and there… but i dont come here very often and i really wanted to be creative this year with gifts. i came here with my mother and sister wanting them to pick out some fabric, it really wasn't very busy at the time we came in, we took some time to look at some fabrics.. before we came to cut the length we wanted to ask one of the ladies at the cutting station to help us with some fabric (i did not catch her name but she was a little older lady and had shoulder length dyed red hair) she rolled her eyes and kinda huffed like she was annoyed we asked. she asked what we were looking for and we asked about black fabric that was closer to the ceiling up top.. we asked if we needed someone to help get it down or if we could get it ourselves. she again rolled her eyes and said no she could get it.she said there were two types of fabric.. we followed her but she refused to grab the one we were specifically looking at. when we asked about other fabrics, she rolled her eyes again leading us to the other saying stuff under her breathe, pointed to the other fabric and walked away…we wouldn't have had such a problem with it if we didnt notice that she went back to one of the other girls she was working with at the cutting station and was very obviously talking about us and pointing. when we finished and finally came up to cut our fabric we over heard the red headed girl saying how happy she was to get off and to not be at work. when we got up to the cutting station we saw i want to say her name was isabelle…( she had curly hair and glasses. she was also the lady that the red headed girl was talking to) we came up and the first fabric we didnt have as much as we wanted.. we wanted to try to measure and make sure the piece that we were getting was exactly what we wanted.. when we asked to open the piece the lady kinda snatched the fabric from us and said no with an eye roll and showed us something that was no where im comparison to what we were looking for. we decided to take what they had for that fabric because it was the last of that kind. the fabric that we asked to match with it did not match at all. i just have to say all the ladies working at the cutting station at 2-2:30 pm 11/30/23 REALLY dont seem like they like their job or trying to help people create something that makes them happy. check out was very very nice though which is why i will say..I will come here again because i think the store is great but if me or my family is treated like we were today i will not return and i will share my opinion with others as well.

Come here for a huge selection of fabrics, ribbon, yarn, storage solutions, scrapbook paper, and beads.Skip if coming for craft paints.(JoAnn's have raised prices in the past year, now costing MUCH MORE than Hobby Lobby and Michael's both, even after coupon!Example: prices on 2 oz size acrylic paints are from 20% more (Folkart Glitterific and Deco Art Dazzling Metallics) to as high as 40% more! (Folkart Metallic Paint.)It seems crazy that two competitors can sell a paint for $4.99, but JoAnn's charges $5.99.Hobby Lobby sells a paint not on sale for $1.79 every day price, but JoAnn's charges $2.99 for the same paint, finish & color.On the PLUS side, JoAnn's own line of acrylic paint, Top Notch, is pretty good and makes glitter and metallic finishes at a great price point. If you're lucky, you should find multiple shades at the store, but due to popularity, they're often low stock.)Other things to shop for here: seasonal items, Halloween, Christmas; floral (silk flowers), artist canvas and paper, frames, unfinished wood, quilting rulers, scissors, embroidery floss, knitting needles, and craft books.Pay attention at cutting table and read signs carefully, as they on occasion are placed in area where those sales don't apply. Overall, staff here is for the most part friendly.Check coupons online or in their app as there is usually always at least one gracious coupon for anywhere from 40-60% off one cut of fabric or regular priced item.
