How does Michaels stay in business?? Seriously. It's like 1/5 the selection compared to H.L. but with 3 times the cost.

BUYER BEWARE - Price on shelf is not WHAT THE ACTUAL PRICE IS ACCORDING TO THE HIRED STAFF. Krylon Spray Adhesive is listed on the shelf as $11.99, but the staff must want to pocket a buck, so they will tell you at the register that it is $12.99. When you tell them of the discrepancy they don't even have the stamina to go and check the shelf price. They just scan it again and state that it must have been in the wrong place. No, if that's the game they are going to play, I was in the wrong place. DOWNRIGHT RUDE IN MY OPINION. SHOULD HAVE SOLD IT TO ME FOR THE POSTED PRICE AND THEN CHANGE THE SHELF PRICE - GREEDMONGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The positives: The store had lots of stock which was arranged very neat and easy to view. The employee was very nice at the register.The painful parts: Why does returning an online order, which is damaged, have to be so painful? I felt bad for the girl at the register as it is not made easy for the employee. She had to call management for help. All I wanted to do was an even exchange for something in the store at a similar price of the online order and pay any difference. That could not happen. The online order has to be returned and refunded (and if you pay with paypal or an alternative payment method you don't get a refund you get a gift card), and then you have to purchase, as a completely separate transaction, whatever you want from the store. It is just painful, drawn out, and does not have to be this difficult. The line builds up at checkout with other customers because of all these steps. In addition, even though I had the purchase on my phone, on the app, the manager kept saying it was a return without a receipt. No, I had proof of purchase on my app. Sadly we were purchasing a lot of our wedding DIY stuff from Michael's, but now are choosing alternative places because this is the third return from online orders due to damaged product that we have had to do. And it is just too difficult to try and make returns with online stuff to a store.

I love Michaels and I stop in almost every weekend for art and craft supplies, home decorations etc.

I've been to numerous Michaels across the Front Range, but this one is by far the worst, unfortunately, it's the closest to my house so I'm stuck with it. The story is very dirty, and never well maintained. I can deal with the lack of cleanliness, but the major issue with the store is that it never has anything in stock. Looking for paint? They're out of the color you wanted. Looking for baking supplies? They're out of baking sheets. Did you check online before going to the store to see if it was in stock? Yes, but it's still not in stock. Hopefully, something changes here, otherwise I'm off to JoAnns!

Jess specifically took time out of her morning to walk me all the way back to check something in the frame section, And spent extra time answering my questions and giving me tips. Really appreciate her customer service this morning!
