On a Friday, I went online and ordered a wreath and a 4 foot Christmas tree, since I wanted to spend the weekend decorating them, I paid for same day shipping., which meant, my order should be delivered on that Friday! Right???, well no and let me tell you what happened, I waited all day and night for my order, I went online to the website, to see if I could find anything out?, nothing, finally at 8:05 PM I get a text, asking me if I got my order?, I said back no and asked where my order was?, a few minutes later, she texts me back and says, Michaels states you picked your order up from the store?, I texted back and said, no I am in a wheelchair, and I don't drive, and besides, I paid for same day delivery?, so where's my order?, a few minutes later,?I get another text saying it's on the way?, I stay up past midnight, waiting for my order that I paid extra for to have it delivered on Friday!, I finally go to bed without my order?, now Saturday morning, still no order and no word from Michaels to where my order is?, so I call the 800 number, go through all of this, they tell me my order will be delivered shortly, I get an email and a text stating my order is out for delivery. So I wait, then I get a message saying my order is cancelled?, what?, I call the 800 number again, again I have to go through the whole story again. They tell me they will take care of it and I'll get my order, I also asked to have the fee i paid for same day delivery to be refunded to me, since obviously, I did not get my order on Friday!, They said they would. I asked them why they couldn't call the store up and find out what's going on the same thing happens over again 6 times, then I'm told this is over her head?, it has to go to upper management?, really?, and will take another 3-4 days? I'm not very happy at this point!, so Sunday I call the store and talk to the store manager Laura!, myself, I had to call store manager Sunday myself?, and do their jobs?, why?, didn't they do what I asked them to do call store manager?, I did, Laura store manager was there all day Saturday no one called about my order?, so they all lied to. Me?, why?. Laura checked and my order was in the store, I told her what happened and she said she would get me my order!, at this point I'm not really believing her!, she called me several times to keep me updated!, when order picked up, order is on its way!, finally I got my order!, 2 days later ? I used to shop at hobby lobby and started shopping at Michael's because of hobby lobby's feelings on a certain subject!. I may have to go back shopping there after this! There is an update!, first, I did get my $7.99 refunded for the same day delivery fee, and weeks after this happened!, i finally get a response, sorry for what happened, they gave me a $20.00, e card to use, I thanked her but said they have to do better than this and train people better and to tell them to never lie to a customer that is never acceptable, this should not have happened, I'm leaving the one star because of the lies, how long it took Michaels to get a response from them I'm going to kohls in January, the Michaels is down a few stores, I will go use my e card and if Laura is there thank her, the only employee that didn't lie to me and finally got me my order !
