I have been a customer of Motel 6 for most of my life. Yesterday I was in a serious car accident and ended up pulling over into the parking lot of Motel 6 to wait for the police. I needed to use the restroom and went into the lobby and was stopped by the girl at the front desk. She asked me what I was doing and I informed her that I needed to use the restroom while I waited for the police because I was just in a car accident. She told me I needed to leave the premises immediately. I was shocked. I told her that I am a loyal Motel 6 customer But just needed to use the restroom real fast as I had just been in a terrible car accident. There was no Care or concern at all from this woman. She was extremely cold and extremely rude. I couldn’t believe that somebody would turn away another person who had just been in a car accident accident and waiting for the police. The fact that the restroom was off-limits with absolutely no exceptions has completely changed my view on this establishment. I will never stay at Motel 6 again. The woman at the front desk was as unprofessional as could be, and treated me like I was a piece of trash. She then demanded that I left the property. I am a occupational therapist, and have dedicated my life to helping others. I am active in my churches youth ministry, and volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club. It was really sad to see somebody not only be so cold and heartless, but it was also as if she Enjoyed the small amount of power she had with regulating the bathroom. I will not only never stay at a motel six again, but I will make sure post this on Facebook, and any other social media platform that I may have. Motel 6 you should be ashamed of yourself.

Clean room, good shower, comfy bed. Needs some repairs outside, small tv, and delayed returning my deposit. Overall good hotel for the price!

I used to work here. Most of the negative reviews are true, especially concerning the management. Nice at first glance, and then the shadiness adds up. I was homeless and was permitted by management to live on the property under somebody else's name despite it being against company policy, and magically the day I was spotted leaving my room by a coworker, I was fired over a cheap tablet somebody stole 2 weeks prior that I would have paid out of pocket for no problem. Not sure if it's just plain selfishness or everybody there being miserable. Just know for all of you that have issues with this place - it sucks, but nobody cares (they make it known - there's a reason we wrote on paper that can be easily be destroyed) and nobody will do anything about anything. That's why every review gets a careless copy-paste response - a testament to the property itself. Unprofessional from the ground up, horrendous rooms, the coffee there is more than likely over a year old. Trust me, I made it every morning. You will be greeted by a fake smile and looked down upon the moment you go to your room. If you have an issue, there will be moans and groans before somebody assists you. You will not be treated with dignity and assumed to be a "degenerate" or something along the sorts. Your issues are deemed an inconvenience.I would highly recommend the Super 8 down the road, instead; or InTown Suites. Phenomenal customer service and the rooms are better by tenfold for the same price or cheaper. For those who think I'm lying, attached is an image of a marijuana plant in the back room that was given to another previous employee. Not that I care, it's really the least worrisome issue; but again - unprofessional, and as management loves to say - "unacceptable".

No hot water and paid $75 for deposit and had to call them 4 days later cause it was not put back in bank account. Called them on fourth day and was told they released it on the 3 rd day. It was needed for our trip home. They cancelled our reservation on our return trip because we complained and asked for a discount because no hot water to shower at all. I do not recommend this motel 6.Rooms: No hot water and the heater cover fell off on floor when we were sleeping at 6 am.

Highlights of my visit....The room deposit policy is RIDICULOUS!!!$75 and can take up to 10 days to refund. Then they read you a statement explaining all the rights you agree to give. You must give verbal consent. The room was cold and cavernous, and the thermostat didn't work. I was up multiple times trying to maintain a comfortable temperature.Front desk help is just as cold. When explaining that I need proof of a refund, she said I'll have to wait until house cleaning arrives at 10. And this is "Something you'll have to deal with."This not the Motel 6 that we all know. More like a county jail.

I stayed about a week ago for 2 nights ( during the negative weather we had) . My stay was fine just a few little issues I didn't mind, the staff was nice, the room was very open. During my stay- the lobby heater wasn't working for the staff they had to freeze, one lady told me they couldn't afford wood for the fire place, none of the rooms in to hotel rooms side have microwave just some have refrigerators, they told me the suit side has them. The towels are stained, they told me that they use a laundry service and they would look into... A pipe busted on the 3rd floor of the suit side they just let the water run didn't turn the water off to stop it to fix it ( heard a few ppl talking about not be able to move rooms unless it was dier.So I check out on my last day early everything was fine.. called Wednesday about my deposit told me it depends on my card I used. I found out it could take up to 5 days, ok cool I waited until yesterday to call and ask again cuz I didn't have any thing back.. took my name n number n told me the manager would call me back.nothing. I called today and got told by the lady that answered the phone I wasn't getting it back, I asked why she told me the manager would explain and put me on hold. When the manager answered she told me they just refunded my deposit and it should take about 5 mins I said ok, but why did the other lady tell me u won't going to give it back.. she said have a nice day and hung up on my.. that's what pissed me off... I've been in retail, customer service, I've ever cleaned room at hotels n motels before ... That was not very nice customer service and didn't not help to de-escalate an issue.. . I called corporate the gentleman that I talked to was very nice n helpful went over everything with me n couldn't figure out why they took until I called to release my deposit ... So now I have to wait even longer to get it back... . In my opinion the manager is lacking in management skills. And the owner that's in charge of the place is lacking as well...Rooms: Very open . Basically a bed, 2 night stands a chair and a desk with a TV on the wall over it.. a refrigerator, no microwave. Have to use the one in the lobby.Nearby activities: They have a Walmart closes by and the citadel Mall and very up north.Safety: Steps need to be fixed. One step is more then half way missing, u have to slam the door in the room to get it to close all the way.Walkability: They have elevators inside to get to the higher floors or stairs n close to lats of placesFood & drinks: Have vending machines but all out of order. But there are lots of fast food and restaurants near byNoteworthy details: None I can think of that stands out

This hotel had no hot water (a pipe burst and they didn't have hot water heaters on our side of the hotel) and they are still renting rooms in the dead of winter in January. When we asked about changing rooms they wanted to CHARGE US MORE MONEY. So we stayed for 3 days without a hot shower. This also means none of the sheets or towels are being washed in hot water. Very gross if you think about it. Our room door also didn't close all the way and one night we left for an hour and came back to a fully open door, with our dog and valuables inside. The wind BLEW OPEN THE DOOR, which we closed until it latched. So if you like to feel unsafe and take cold showers, you should stay here.

People complaining about this place obviously have never stayed in cheap motels before. It isn't the four seasons but it works well as a locker room for a trip. My only complaints are that the mattress slides all over the bed frame and the coffee in the morning is absolutely terrible, I'm pretty sure it's not even coffee.

Rooms: Rooms are good size and the beds are large. There is a microwave and refrigerator in each room.Walkability: Restaurants close by, as well as other businesses. Walmart is across the street.

Horrible everything on the website is a lie and the main person at the desk can only say ok in English and gets a nasty attitude when you speak to her in Spanish because she can continue to ignore you. The rooms are dirty with bugs crawling around you. They let anyone who's Mexican park where the customers are supposed to park. I complained because a couple who wasn't even staying there had their car broken down in front of my room, had my room full of gasoline smell and it made me very sick. They did nothing to help me. The only good thing about this room was the location.

First off, the room l was in was clean, but you will see cracks here and there in the walls and floor, not a deal breaker. For me, the deal breaker for any hotel is this notion of PET FRIENDLY, which means there might be dog urine in your mattress or flees, and you would never know it despite the sheets being clean. To which I am not implying this hotel does that, just saying that there might be a possibility. There should be 10 rooms on the side that never allow pets for those of us that have an allergic reaction to animal hair and dander..The idea that owners of ANIMALS can treat their dog, cat, or parakeet to a room where other renters who are allergic ? and don't own animals is RIDICULOUS ?.In your room, there is that pevariable door that leads to the apartment next door. It is locked on your side, but you can hear others talk play the TV, etc.The clientele is that white trash tattoos smoking cigarette type. At least when I was here, sorry to view people like that, but I am honest. For the price we paid 100.00 the place is doable for a one nighter. There is no microwave in the room only in the lobby, and it is just one. There is also an ice machine in the lobby. Parking is ample, and the highway is nearby. My wife and I shopped for food at a supermarket and brought ready-made food back with us??. If I needed a place to stay and I was on a budget, I would sacrifice and stay a night. But if I found a better place, NO PETS for a little bit more than I would go there.PS... my wife and I felt a little itchy in our bed.I INCLUDED PHOTOS IN MY REVIEWDaveLong Island NYFood & drinks: Supermarket, restaurants, and highway nearby
