Did a great job nursing my Korg Krome back to health after it lived in a middle school band room for 5 years. Price for service was right on the number I expected to pay.I’m definitely taking some more unhappy yet very necessary gear his way.

Brought in a synthesizer that needed a simple lcd screen replacement, along with the replacement screen I ordered from the manufacturer (he said the hardest part was getting the part, and I let him know I had already gotten the screen from Novation and showed it to him). Told me he was running 3 weeks behind. The day before 11 weeks hit, I called to see if he had completed my repair. He said he had 8 more orders before he even got to me, and had no idea of how much longer it would be, as he doesn't know how long each repair will take.I drove over to pick up my synth because of how long it was taking. He again told me "I tell everyone 3 weeks." I told him the date I dropped it off, and reminded him that the following day was 11 weeks. "No, it couldn't have been that long" Then made a big production of looking back through 2 different receipt books. When he found it on the date I specified, he said "oh, looks like I forgot to even order the part". I reached in the bag and pulled out the lcd screen I had delivered with the synth, and he said "not sure how I missed that"Honestly, how do you start a new receipt book and never check to make sure ALL work was completed? Was he just not capable of replacing a lcd screen and just didn't want to say?? Is this unorganized and unproffessional approach the normal way Rosstronics does business? Hard to say, but I will never return or recommend.Dropped my synth off at guitar center an hour later, and was back up and running in less than a week, for half of what Ross quoted me for the repair.

The owner was very honest on how long it could take. Also, he had a good idea of what might be wrong with it from his experience .

I had two Newcomb record players that were having trouble with the idler wheel. Ross fixed both for $65. I took them home one was working perfect the other still had trouble. Called up Ross told me to bring it in , he worked his magic did not charge me, and now both of my record players are working as they should.

Accidentally parked in HIS one parking spot and he came running out with his hair on fire like I killed his dog! Was going to give him some business but he's too dramatic and excitable for me. Taking my business elsewhere.

I've found that this is the place to go, it's the only one I trust. My amps are old so I need repairs from time to time,Ross is very knowledgeable, knowledge gained from years of experience, and gets things done in a timely manner. Also pricing is fair. The parts tubes etc. are the highest quality and he can get anything that's available including new old stock. I highly recommend him!

I have taken 3 separate electronic items to Rosstronics through the years, and they have fixed them every time. Locally owned and affordable, high-quality techs. Best in town.

After a good deal of calling around, I found Ross to come out and fix our very old Lowry organ. I thought it was dirty rocker switch contacts - a problem we had had before. I was surprised and pleased when he pulled out some test equipment and traced the problem to a particular transistor. He replaced that component and it all worked.I can't recommend Ross enough for repair of AV and musical equipment.

One guy told me my vintage amplifier needed all new capacitors. Ross said no and used a cleaner for corrosion. It was like magic. Works fine now. Thank you.

I had high hopes for this company and made about four trips from North Denver to get there with two amps and a keyboard repair. The first project, a Fender went pretty well with a repair to the reverb mechanism, though he didn't properly note all problems and attend to them, and so I'm living with still scratchy controls. I can do that. The second project was a keyboard whose back-lit information window was out. He repaired the .window fine, but to my amazement, gave me back my keyboard, which was in mint condition, with wooden end-pieces that were beat to Hell somehow. I can't imagine how that happened and he never made an explanation, even after I called it to his attention, just giving me back a beat up instrument with perfect aplomb. Eventually he offered to make good on repair work of the case, but I declined, not wanting to leave anything more with him--as by then he had messed up as third project, a foreign amp of high quality that he twice told me was working fine, according to all specs. He told me that to repair my amp I'd need to get the schematic, which I did with a note in French to Europe. He then delivered me a non-working amp. I brought it back, saying that the 1/4 inch channels weren't working in any serviceable manner. He then told me he'd need the owners manual to really check on the power expectations of each channel. I sent these by email, photo shots copied and pasted. He soon told me to come get my amp and he gave me a half-hour of technical BS, a smoke and mirrors job--and indeed he had not fixed anything. This is not rocket science: you have an amp and a guitar, and either the amp works or it doesn't, technical rhapsodies notwithstanding. Astonishingly, the owners professes to have no guitar on the premises, but uses a Hi-Fi radio or cassette fully cranked to show you that there's something there, some output, or he'll use a fully cranked bass guitar, again to insist that there is proper output. I paid and paid for the work done, more than they asked and I made numerous long trips, often useless, and I thought I was on good terms with the two men in the shop, which is why the voodoo and gaslighting was so disappointing. On another score, in entering the shop, I brought in index cards with my name, phone number and address, and a list of problems. I backed this up with blue drawstring tags on handles of gear, with identical data. The owner wouldn't take my index cards, preferring to make his own notes on his own preferred forms as I chatted with him. In two instances, he later accused me of causing his failures for having not told him to do certain things. And yet I went home with the informative hanging tags still on the gear, and all problems listed. Hey, you can only do so much! My recommendations: (1) avoid; (2) if you use this shop, take nothing out of the ordinary there, (3) make sure the shop has three kinds of data, engraved somewhere as if by the epic hand of George Washington on what's wrong ...what the problems are; and (4) bring in your own guitar and get a good demonstration of your own gear before you leave the shop. Kindness and diplomacy don't seem to work here. Frankly, I was more disappointed on the personal level than on the mechanical. I have waited three months or so before making my comments, trying to be level-headed and fair. Caveat Emptor. And don't forget: Bird lives.

This is the place to go when you need electronics repair. They have fixed keyboards, amps and guitars for me. All at a good price with explaining the issue, costs and options.
