I was there the day before yesterday at around lunch time. The cashier just randomly decided to ask if I would be using EBT to pay for my purchases. I have never heard a cashier ask this and was kind of shocked, so much so that I decided that I must have heard her wrong. I finished my purchase and stepped a few feet away to pack my groceries in to my bags, and I heard her ask the lady who was behind me in line the exact same thing! What is happening? How is it the stores business to ask people that question while they are being checked out? Thankfully, no, I am not using EBT, but how embarrassing for anyone she asks this question to - who then has to answer yes. Cashiers name was Aimee. Fix this incompetence!

Manager Dan is a lifesaver and helped me rent a carpet cleaner even though the service desk was closed! Was helpful and kind the whole time! Thank you so so much! Merry Christmas!

I wish there was a way to give a minus 5. This store charges more than other Safeway stores, rarely has more than one register open, and the self checkout regularly stretches down an entire aisle. Don't even try going to the customer service desk, I don't think they even staff it. The one shining bright spot is that the Starbucks staff is kind. Demetria, Vonda, they were the reason we came in before. I once heard a manager tell an employee that people HAD to shop here so whatever. Um, no we don't. Byeeeee.

The absolute biggest joke of a grocery store that sells their food for easily at least 25% higher than other area grocery stores. Seriously, just go to King Soopers. You will save a significant amount of money on virtually EVERYTHING. There is absolutely no reason to ever step foot inside a Safeway.

I want to make sure that this employee gets proper recognition for the work that she does. So, I’m writing this post even though I really never review things.I always get low-key excited when I order pick -up and Judy comes rolling up with my groceries. She’s always so friendly and warm that it totally makes my day, even if my day has been hellacious. With Thanksgiving coming up, I’m thankful for so many things including the however short interactions I get with Judy once a week or two when I pick up my groceries. My mom lives out of state and she reminds me so much of her, just…thanks.

I was going to complain about this Safeway after last night's experience but after seeing all these negative reviews I figured what's the use. I can plainly see it is a lost cause! I'll never shop here again.

This is only a first draft... trust me.This store is painfully understaffed. One of the manager's was unable to assist me a few weeks back because, and I quote, "I'm nothing more than a pawn." If you check back in a few days, I will have written a short story on how my bicycle (my only mode of transpiration (because of more than a few neuro quirks that involve way , way too little dopamine in my synaptic gaps ; ), Actually, to be fair, 'stolen' might not be the right term... 'donated' by management to a thief is probably much more accurate. When I requested a short statement from the MOD for the CSPD police report... she just refused. She didn't say,, "she wasn't able to".... Just straight up refused. When I inquired as to what manger would be able to do so, I wan told, not a single one.Admittedly, this is just my 'day after kneejerk rant', but when when I get my next moment of cognitive clarity, this will get to be way better short story... that's kinda' what I do for fun thee days.By the by, I you ask a manager if you could get the contact inform of their superiors on a regional on a regional level, they will inform you that is not possible. To be fair, I called the corporate offices in Arizona, that is , quite surprisingly, very true...... but everyone of them is on LinkedIn, lawl. Were chatting.

September 19, 2023 not for the first time, when I check out with wine the cashiers are kind of rude.Is it just me?I had cat food, juice, and wine and I was told “I need to see an ID“. She should have said, may I see an ID please? That’s about the fifth time I’ve bought wine at this location and had the cashier just be kind of rude. The only time the person wasn’t rude was at the self check out. So, I don’t know what’s going on maybe they’re just not happy people? In my opinion cashiers are supposed to be friendly people.Update: just checked my receipt and my cashier was Aimee. And referencing another reviewer who said they were devoting a “enormous amount of space to Wine“ it’s one side of one aisle.Let’s talk about an enormous amount of space devoted to beer! How about 15 feet along the back wall? So, if you are missing some thing at this Safeway then there’s another one 3 miles away. But be warned, they sell wine also. LOLOtherwise, I don’t know who in the heck can afford to shop at Safeway anymore the prices are outrageous!I only go to this store out of sheer convenience.

This store used to be fine until I came in as a Dasher picking up an order for my customer. I know how these usually go especially when I'm not hand picking the order myself so I knew I had just enough time to get ONE item for my birthday this week while I only have the one chance to shop for myself. I was self-checking my item and just about 5 feet away at the Guest Services counter the DriveUp & Go gentleman, gets on the store intercom to announce, "Can I get the Dasher with the order for ___ to please come up to Guest Services," still being an earshot away and finishing up my payment with the slow card reader he then says to the other employee, "It's not like I'm trying to shop for other orders or anything," with a snarky attitude and zero expression. I didn't call for the nasty attitude I've been doing these deliveries for years and I never get anything for myself and the one time I do, I get disrespected willfully. I think if he doesn't like what he does, there's still plenty of jobs out in the world without customer facing interaction for people like him with disordered thinking and maladaptive social behaviors. Sucks to have to skip orders from this store because they're generally high paying and I'm usually the one who has to wait at least triple the time he waited on me, and it wasn't even more than one minute of his time.

I stop at this Safeway to get lunch about 3 times a week due to errands for my job, and most days I need a caffeine pick me up to get through the rest of the work day.I ALWAYS stop and get a coffee when I see Matt working the Starbucks counter in this Safeway. He is kind, friendly, and being able to engage in friendly banter and small talk with Matt is welcomed a break from my busy work days. All of the employees that work at the Starbucks are a pleasure to engage with, but I wanted to give a specific shout out to Matt because he is a great asset that store, and should he recognized.Thank you!

10 minutes till closing time and I can't get in the doors and the security guard just looks at his watch and walks away.I don't understand what the point of closing at 11 is if they're going to close before 11. I needed one thing.
