Silver Sparrow Beads is a rare and beautiful little bead shop in Old Colorado City. The shop offers a great and amazing selection, with a beautiful array of beads, gems, jewelry, and many unique items not seen elsewhere. This includes tribal beads, ceramic beads, handmade jewelry and bags, silk and leather ribbon, chain, findings, and other cute gifts, all priced fairly. The staff is extremely nice, knowledgeable, and helpful, providing great custom service. They are always ready to greet customers and offer assistance, whether helping to pick out gifts, coaching on restringing and jewelry making techniques, fixing items, or creating custom pieces like leather rope chains. Their specialty is leather and wire work, and their string work is second to none. Even during the busiest and most chaotic times, the calm and wonderful staff expertly juggles helping all customers. As a result, customers from out of town make a point to return, and local artists confidently select quality semi-precious beads and materials for their designs. The shop provides a wonderful experience that keeps people coming back for new projects, supplies, and friendly chat.
This is a great stop If you're in OCC. Lots of pre-made items available for purchase as well as supplies to create your own jewelry or bead project. Also a cute charm bar so you can DIY a piece for yourself or as a gift. Terrific vibes and a great place to shop.
