The people here are just wonderful! Every person I interacted with was so friendly and helpful. When my Instacart order was delivered to the adjacent hotel the front desk person immediately figured it out and even went to go get it for me in the snow. The beds were comfortable with nice linens and the food for breakfast and social hour was delicious. The gym had nice equipment and the hotel is beside some open space near Monument Creek, which runs through town. There were thoughtful touches everywhere, like live plant cuttings on the dining tables and a collection of books and games to play. The room furniture was a bit worn and some places needed fresh paint, but overall it felt clean and safe. I also liked that they had middle of the road CNN on the public TV. We'll definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff alone makes me want to rate this place 5-stars. We stayed here on a Friday, checked in relatively late, and it was quite as a mouse (aka peaceful). Leann at the front desk was very friendly… patient and kind towards my family of 4.The hotel seems a little older, but kept up just fine, and the mountain views are exquisite. Definitely would recommend :)

More to come. Warning hotel is located behind the Holiday Inn express. Be careful of the hill in icy weather. Snow/ice removal is not a safety priority. Parking sucks. Narrow spaces and only one way in or out means pack light or be prepared to schlep your gear from the far reaches ot the lot. Otherwise room is nice. More to come later.

Been staying here for about 3 months for work and I cannot say enough great and wonderful things about the management and staff here. Everyone has always been helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Customer service is the first reason to stay here! Great location off the highway with plenty of amenities around and the VIEW out the windows of the mountains is amazing!

I thought it was so cool we got two rooms! It was like a little apartment with a living room and kitchen and 2 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms! I'm not used to that niftyness. Our couches had definitely seen better days, but we spent most our time exploring Colorado Springs not hanging out on the couches in the room, lol. Oh, and the breakfast provided was great! We really enjoyed our stay here.

I really wanted to love this place but the countless missteps have undermined that outcome. You are greeted by cookies! Assorted at that! What's not to like?!Members are given a discount, even if you book online at a higher price.Way-finder signs: they are absent for the elevator, so locating the elevator is an unnecessary challenge. I passed multiple people who were impacted by not being able to locate the elevator. Clear way-finding signs would put an end to that confusion...Breakfast: a beautiful assortment with lots of choices. However, I wanted oatmeal. It was set out unprepared. There was a oatmeal pot, I am assuming oats with water sitting on top. Sadly no one checked to see if they had actually cooked, they were not! What's that about? You set out food and don't check to see if it's done!?Tip jar: my breakfast is free and "tip-inflation" strikes again. They did their job, but didn't go above and beyond, yet wanted to be tipped. Yet couldn't be counted on to ensure my oatmeal was prepared. We fixed our own plate, bussed our own table and yet were impacted by the choice to tip or not tip...My room was ready when I arrived and as a IHG member I was provided an early check in. However, my room did not have any hand wash in it and I had to track down the housekeeping staff to locate it. They got it to me without an issue. However,I can't understand why something as basic as hand soap to wash my hands wasn't in my room prior to my requesting it. They provide a nice assortment of Dove products in the shower and on the sink top as a courtesy. They also have a microwave, cooktop, dishwasher, dishes etc in your room. As well as courtesy washing machines and dryers.Chaise lounge chair: it's amazing that they are in the room, super comfortable. It's winter in Colorado and no throw available. It's a shame not to have a throw available to further enjoy this great chair during the winter in ColoradoHowever, the most egregious misstep was when I moved the chaise lounge chair in my room and found feces under the chair. I am assuming it was from the pet who was previously in my room. GROSS!!!!!!!This however is NOT something the next guess should have to deal with or even be aware of. While I would not disagree that the previous guest as the pet owner should have cleaned it up. If they do not, that would fall to the hotel to take care of and not the subsequent guestIf you want to run a "pet friendly hotel" it's completely unacceptable that rooms are not properly sanitized as part of the preparation for the next guest.Clearly they are not!Clearly this is not okay and as a non pet owner, I find this even more egregious! I am completely grossed out by this! I am also completely unhappy to have been put in the position to have to complain about this occurrence! While the manager on duty did offer to change my room, she completely failed to apologize! Hospitality demands that she did!Her failure to accept responsibility for the incident by offering an apology, makes it seem like I was being unreasonable and a difficult client. I was neither and my complaint went invalidated yet, it was completely valid!I deserved an apology and a clean room. I would have overlooked everything else; But the feces and failure to acknowledge the validity of my concerns made it impossible to grant them a good review. The missing customer service at this location is unacceptable!Sadly, the rest of my stay was impacted by this. I found myself concerned about the cleanliness of my room(s) the rest of my stay.My new room did have the mountain view but it was much noisier than my previous room. It was an end room and so I was disturbed by the people coming and going from the hallway entrance. There was this very annoying random buzzing sound in my room that I never did identify what the source of it was.

If you are looking for a hotel/extended stay with the best location and nicest services in Colorado Springs, look no further, you found the best spot. This place has direct views to Colorado Springs's mountain range, direct access to I-25, direct walking access to one of the best trails in Colorado Springs, and you can make it to downtown or amazing sites like Garden of the Gods in less than 15 minutes. The biggest highlight of my stay were the managers, Scott and Rachael, along with the entire support staff. Scott and Rachael are the nicest, friendliest, and most welcoming hosts in hospitality.I stayed here for over a year along with a small team of 8-12 alternating coworkers and a coach bus. Scott and Rachael always kept us in mind, and always made it easy for us to accommodate for our team's needs. I truly appreciate the entire staff here for their hospitality and kindness. When I am in the city of Colorado Springs, this will be my first choice of stay.Nearby activities: Garden of the Gods, downtown Colorado Springs, United States Air Force academy.Walkability: Direct walkable access to one of the city's best trails that leads all the way to downtown.

A Hotel Worth Recommending
If you're looking for a great hotel, I highly recommend this one. Their customer service is top-notch, and their staff is incredibly friendly. Scott, the manager, is especially amazing. He knows how to take great care of his guests and staff. We also had an awesome view of the mountains, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.Carlos & Jackie Lopez

Love how the hotel is tucked away. The views from the second floor balcony are beautiful. Little hiking trail behind the hotel with stream. The staff is kind and helpful. We stayed 5 days and it was great.

This is a great hotel that I would gladly recommend others stay at when in Colorado Springs. It is tucked away off the highway so it is nice and quiet. The customer service was exceptional from all the staff. The General Manager engages personally with his guests and attends to everyone of their needs with a kind and professional attitude. Lastly, the location is ideal as everything needed (and more) is accessible in the immediate area (restaurants, shops, malls, movie theaters, etc.).Rooms: Nice clean rooms with great kitchen.

Price was about the only good thing. For suites, these rooms were tiny, the rooms are old and have lots of damage from what appears to be long term guests, maybe with pets since it’s so pet friendly. The walls are super thin and can hear everything going on outside the rooms. Would’ve stayed at one of the other hotels but they were all booked.

Excellent stay. The pet friendly queen suite with kitchen was perfect. It was clean, very comfortable and was a welcome alternative to expensive AirBnb's. The staff and manager were extremely warm, welcoming, accommodating and professional. The daily included breakfast was good, with healthy options which we appreciated. The amenities; outdoor pool, hot tub, barbecues, grounds and walking trails with beautiful mountain views were lovely. A surprisingly excellent stay, so good we actually extended! I've stayed in a lot of Staybridges and this one does not live up to standards. The most concerning aspect of our stay was the breakfast served. The "hot" food like eggs and sausage and potatoes were cold coming out of the serving containers, raising concerns about food safety. All of the baked goods served were stale. The juices were out for hours and I had to say something to get them refilled. You hate to have to go out and buy yourself breakfast after paying almost $200 for a single night. The rooms were fairly quiet on interior walls but the windows didn't insulate sound well and the nearby train could be heard clearly at night. The website said nothing about the hot tub being seasonal, so we were very disappointed it was not usable.Food & drinks: The "hot" food like eggs and sausage and potatoes were cold coming out of the serving containers, raising concerns about food safety. GREAT hotel! Scott and his team here were so helpful last night. Our home caught fire and we had to find a place to stay with 4 kids. We called him up and he was so helpful and kind to our family. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. He showed our children so much kindness and did everything he could to comfort us. The breakfast was amazing and he made sure to check up on us in the morning. 10 out of 10 will definitely stay here again. Thanks again Scott, you are such an amazing person and keep your property so clean and comfortable!
