I've heard nothing but good things about Dr. Tidswell and looked forward to my appointment last week, but they called and said they would need to reschedule me because they had no staff. Ok fine...life happens. Later that day I got a call from the office saying that I no-showed, asking me if I wanted to reschedule. I told the woman that I absolutely did NOT no-show and told her my appointment had been rescheduled because they had no staff. This morning, 2 hours before my appointment, the same woman called and told me that they again had no staff and she was laughing the whole time she was telling me this. Very unprofessional and I didn't reschedule. A bad front office in the medical field will quickly destroy a practice.

Dr. Tidswell is amazing we love him, however his new office staff some of the ladies are rude and disrespectful. Maybe they need a reminder they are having an income because of their clients. Without clients not work no ... Also we had our bills in our last June/July visit covered and no dues. 2 month later we are getting from "My Eye Dr" an additional bill which, if the office staff would have their job done properly vs been rude to clients how they tread them, this could have been handled differently in the beginning letting us know there will be a part the insurance may or is not covering. Mistakes where made on the orders of the glasses and it took for ever to get these fixed. Lack of communication and when we where following up we where not treated as it should lets say that as nicely as we can. This time the whole process was frustrating. We miss the old staff from his office they where always professional and very helpful, polite and nice. Dr Tidswell gets 5 stars from us his office team zero.

First visit I sat in the waiting area for 50 minutes. I rescheduled. I took off early for my rescheduled appointment leaving my office short staffed. Oh they lost my first papers packet. With my social security info? Lost? Wow. So now that I had filled out all my paperwork again I was again ignored for 35 minutes before being taken in back. Apologies as they are short staffed, yada yada going to make it right. I got a trial pair of contacts to try for two weeks. But the Dr wanted an evaluation on the fit before we ordered a six month supply. Today I came in for my ten minute evaluation. So here I sit an hour later in the back and I am fuming. Ever since Dr A sold this to my eye Dr the place has gone downhill. I have been coming to this establishment for over 40 years and I have never seen such disorganization in a medical or therapist office.

After losing my glasses on a recent trip I went back to where I got my prescription, only to find out they were not longer there. The new company that took over was better than I could have hoped. Sydney was able to recreate what I had along with Brenda. I walked out feeling very pleased and confident in my choice to make this my new eye Dr.

I love the staff I love the doctor he is very precise here's that back in the day when you really went to the doctor and he did all kinds of tests and make sure it's rt not like these others he takes time with you he listens work with y'all Budget insurance highly favored

I just ordered new eyeglasses from myeyedr. Colorado Springs. Brenda and Sydney helped me make my selection and put in the order. They were so helpful, friendly and fun. They helped me make a choice best for my coloring and face shape. They obviously love their job and are very knowledgeable about their jobs.

I'm new to this office, and to say I was very impressed with the staff and customer service is an understatement.A very thorough eye exam completed in a timely manner, and then the results were explained to me.Special thanks to Sydney and Brenda for taking the time to make sure my new glasses were fitted properly, and keeping me informed as to when my order was ready to pick up. These women are definitely assets to this office...very personable, knowledgeable, and friendly.I am a very happy customer.

Friendly staff. Professional. Timely. Helpful. Patient. Our large family has been coming for years.*****Unfortunately ***** their eye glasses have skyrocketed in price!!DO NOT order your eye glasses from here. Even though we have great insurance the cost for eye my glasses was $700. Without insurance they would have been $1900. This is horrendous as no eye glasses should cost this much. In 15 years we've never had such outrageous prices.We ordered a pair of excellent eye glasses from another company for our so that were just as good of quality for $175 with no insurance.

This is by far the best eye care center I’ve been to. I’m really glad I found Tidswell Eye Care. I got fitted for my eyeglasses and contacts here. Dr. Tidswell is very patient and thorough. I never felt that I was being rushed during the whole exam. I always have a positive experience when I come here and would recommend them to everyone I know. Zach is a stellar employee! He deserves a raise! ⭐️ Thank you, Tidswell Eyecare!

Can't speak to their service but not impressed with booking process. I dropped my glasses and destroyed one of the lenses and I need them for work. I was very relieved when I called and they could get me in the next day! I got held up behind a fender bender on my way to my appointment today, called the receptionist to let them know I was going to arrive 4-5 minutes late. They opted to cancel my appointment and push it to the end of the month. I have never been to an eye appointment that didn't involve waiting in the lobby for 15-30 minutes before being seen. Either they run the tightest schedule ever, or just couldn't be bothered. Either way, not helpful and not impressed. Cancelled and booked an appointment on Monday with a different optometrist in the springs. Hopefully others have better luck.
