The UCCS Campus Store is primarily known for selling UCCS apparel and school products, with a limited selection of books. Several reviews mention that it no longer functions effectively as a bookstore, with many students finding the book selection limited and overpriced. Some students have had difficulty purchasing textbooks, experiencing issues such as books being unavailable or staff lacking knowledge to resolve problems, which often requires management intervention. High turnover among student employees appears to contribute to inconsistent service, with some staff acting inappropriately, such as giving ordered books to friends instead of the paying customers who ordered them in advance. This behavior leads to delays and frustration for students waiting for their materials. The store’s prices for school supplies are considered high, especially given the limited options for students, prompting some to seek alternative sources, including contacting publishers directly for certain books or purchasing from other retailers at lower costs. Overall, many students recommend avoiding the bookstore when possible and exploring other purchasing options to save money and ensure reliable service. Persistent issues with staff turnover and management seem to hinder the store’s ability to serve students efficiently, making it a less favorable choice for textbook needs.
There are not enough alum selections, but plenty of other options exist.

Can be pricey but not too terrible. You can get a notebook and a snack without breaking your wallet for sure.

Pretty standard college book store. As always some people are helpful and some aren't. It's a roll of the dice. But for the most part everyone here seems to try.
