This is a review more for USAA as a whole. I fell for a scam website a few months ago and have been fighting tooth and nail to attempt to get my money back. USAA has not been helpful at all. As soon as I am able to, I am closing every account associated with this financial institution, as they have the resources to help me but refuse to do so. If you are considering USAA, consider literally anyone else first. Nothing says "Thank you for your service" like leaving me in the lurch

USAA was a great insurance company for many years. But all good things come to an end eventually. Thanks to their latest restructuring, the quality of customer support has plummeted to an all time low. USAA Web Support is even worse. As a 40 year USAA member, I am throwing in the towel and going to another insurance company where customers are still valued, and customer service is still given a high priority.

The worst. You absolutely do not represent the values of honesty and fraternity/solidarity that the army stands for. Your actions show that your leaders want to see this bank disappear. Your actions show it.

I used to feel it was such an honor to belong to USAA; and now I am just totally let down by them. Over two months ago, I put in a property claim which is still pending. Meanwhile I have had to invest close to $8000 in getting my home repaired from a water leak. They are not returning my calls; the first adjuster that was assigned to me, literally got into a verbal confrontation with me... Very unprofessional. I was assigned a second adjuster, who I thought was pretty decent in the beginning, however, now I am not getting my calls returned by her either. I am so disappointed. When I called today to ask to be escalated, I was told that the supervisor was indefinitely out. They said they would transfer me to someone else, and I waited on the phone for 10 minutes before I finally got frustrated and hung up, tired of waiting.

For a bank that supports the military, this bank really isn't good enough for civilians. If you get a divorce, you won't be allowed to remove your name from the joint account. So if you're stuck with one of the many types of narcissists bred from the military, you won't be allowed to remove yourself from an account due to the fact that they don't have the technology to remove one from a joint account unless the entire account is closed. And if the narcissist won't close it then you're stuck getting the military's bad credit effecting your credit score. So, what's my advice? Don't get a joint account at USAA. If you want to remove your name one will have to close the entire account and if the other member of the joint account doesn't wish this, then you're stuck on account that will reflect poorly since the military doesn't set up their people for success after they served. It appears as if USAA is not updated enough to keep up with the times.

I'm a third party delivery driver. I had just picked up some medical marijuana from the dispensary, and then recieved an order to deliver to a military base. The base doesn't allow drugs of any kind, so I placed the bag in a bush on the far corner of the property to come back later and bring it home after my delvery.Just as I was about to leave, noticed a nosey secutrity guard scoping me out, but didn't think much of it, and I left. I returned almost an hour later to find the well hidden bag gone, and the same security guard pulls around telling me to get off the property.Congrats friend, you're a real hero. Small man with a lust for power. Almost $100 down the drain. Stay far away from this entire office park. They're just looking for any reason to make your day worse. The type of people to write you a ticket for breaking 3 mph over their speed limit, literally salivating at the chance to nab you. Absolutely disgraceful.

Don’t come here if you’re trying to cash anything even if you have an account. My dad gave me some savings bonds and I went here to cash them as I have a USAA checking account and they just told me to do it online. Don’t bother coming here for anything just treat USAA like a fully online bank.

Used to be good. Now this company stinks. On the phone for hours at a time. No 24 hr service makes it difficult for those who live overseas to conduct business using them. Automated phone system takes forever to get through. Rates are increasingly higher than other businesses. Not sure why/ how they still have customers.

Agero is a call center that contacts tow companies in the area that you need the tow. They consistently provide horrible service. Don't use them even if your insurance company recommends them. Call the local tow company yourself. You will get faster, reliable service and you won't be waiting more than 12 hours to receive service and you insurance company WILL reimburse you. If policy holders start arranging tows themselves and this company loses the money they would have been paid (which is more than you pay yourself), insurance companies will wake up and drop this contract company. You will be safer, your vehicle will be safer and towed sooner and you will have piece of mind. You are paying the premiums, the insurance company works for you. Don't let them dictate poor third party service! Agero is NOT BBB approved and they have had 409 complaints filed against them for the same issues we all experienced.

For over 18 years, I used to be a proud customer of USAA; I relied on them for all my banking and insurance needs. However everything changed last February when I was involved on the receiving end of a T-Bone accident that totaled my vehicle and almost cost me my life. The USAA Mountain States Regional Office was quick to take ownership of my totaled vehicle, but reneged their original offer and constantly refused to provide compensation for a period of 3 months. They kept citing policies that did not exist in my contract nor were they options provided in the coverage. The company went as far as to play ignorant and asked me for proof that the vehicle's title was transferred to them.As a result, I have lost a significant amount of financial support as I did not a suitable replacement for my original vehicle, I was out of work due to a torn shoulder, and developed mental health issues as I could not overcome my fears from the accidentIt reached a boiling point where I provided proof/witnesses of the transferred title, cited local Nevada laws, and provided documentation of all the agreements that USAA has provided promising compensation. Eventually, USAA provided the funds to replace but still refuse to provide medical coverage. I am still in need of therapy for my shoulder and mental health.Overall, USAA simply doesn't care about their customers and would rather them continue with their pain and suffering...

Why have a physical branch with no tellers? I’m trying to transfer to this bank, got a cashiers check from my old bank to deposit in my account; the amount is over the limit for the mobile app. I called the 1-800 number and they said I could deposit at the branch. When I get here I’m told there are no tellers but I can deposit via ATM with a debit card… I just opened this account, I don’t have the debit card yet. I hope I don’t need any money for the next 10+ days.I never had a deposit limit with Navy Federal.

Needed a cashier’s check to buy a car. My husband couldn’t get through on the phone to verify if they cut provided that kind of service or not. I went in person to see. Their parking lot is a little confusing but not too bad once you circle around once or twice. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I was out the door with my check and a free bottle of water in no time. They even waived the $10 cashier’s check fee since this was my first one in the calendar year. Also their ATMs in the lobby are super nice.

After having insurance with USAA for 25 years we switched because their rates for Auto, home, and Umbrella were $4k a year higher. USAA rates increased dramatically over the past few years while availability and service has declined. Called repeatedly over the last year about the rates and was told we were valued as customers and my concerns would be escalated and reviewed. Every time I called the person sounded surprised the rates were that much higher.

I needed to get a cashiers check, and they made it so quick & easy. They opened at 9, and when I walked in at 9:01, they were ready for me. I was out by 9:10. Everyone was so nice & did their job well.

First time actually entering a USAA and I was not disappointed! Entire staff was very kind and helpful.
