The pharmacy is just sporadically closed. Waited more than 45mins in the drive through today. They’ve been having “staffing issues” for 3 years now. They have 1 person trying to manage everything. Maybe they should pay their employees better!

***PLEASE READ BEFORE USING PHARMACY*** If you or a loved one has epilepsy or another life threatening disability that is being managed by medication, please DO NOT get prescriptions filled at Walgreens. My fiancé is currently in jeopardy of losing his job, his license, and possibly even his life because the employees decided to give us and the doctors false information. I understand that a lot of employees have their hands tied and try their best in certain situations but there was so much they could've done and so much at stake here.. He is currently without medications and there is nothing that we can do with Walgreens. Please, if you can, choose a different pharmacy.

I usually don't do this because people have bad days and they can be less helpful sometimes than they would be on a good day. However the pharmacy technician at this location named George refused to let me talk to anyone else in the pharmacy and said that he didn't have any bosses or manager that I could speak with for more information. He denied a hierarchy in the pharmacy and pretty much stated that he was his own boss. I hung up finally after getting nowhere with him and called again. Thankfully another technician answered and she was helpful and redirected me to a pharmacist. The pharmacist was able to help explain the situation and I was able to get my questions answered. This review is not for the entire pharmacy but it is for the pharmacy technician named George.

I'm adding this review to both this Walgreens and the one on Southgate Rd as my experience involves both pharmacies. This week on a Wednesday my dr sent in a new prescription for a medication I've taken for several years. It is very important that I do not come off of this medication suddenly as doing so can cause a medical emergency. I called the Walgreens on Circle on Friday to confirm that I was ok to pickup my prescription but was told that they had not received a prescription from my provider. I then checked online to see that my prescription had in fact been put in on Wednesday ad my dr had said. I then called the circle Walgreens again and was told by a different employee that she did see the prescription but that they needed my insurance. My insurance has been on file for years with Walgreens and has not changed. I was not called or notified that this information was needed Walgreens simply chose not to fill my prescription. I provided the information again and was told that my medicine would be ready at 7pm. I checked both the phone message and online to be sure the pharmacy was open on Saturday. I drove to the circle Walgreens on Saturday to find the pharmacy window closed and a sign stating that they were only open weekdays. I then drove to the Southgate Walgreens. I asked if my prescription could be transferred there as I needed it urgently at this point. I was told yes however they did not see any prescription from my provider. I again explained that it had already been found by another employee and that it had been sent in by my dr. They told me this was not true but that they had found an old prescription with refills still on it. I said that's fine I just really need this refilled today. They said of course it will be ready in 1 1/2 hours. I came back in 2 hours and was told that my prescription was not ready but that it would be in 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I explained that they had already told me 1 1/2 hours and that it was really urgent. They said they were going on lunch and that I would just have to come back in another 1 1/2 hours.

Scheduled a covid test for travel purposes. I was shocked to see a member of staff bitching at a fellow employee, I walked a way and wondered around the store, hoping the tension would be less when I got to the counter. The woman was nasty and unpleasant and she cancelled my appointment when I asked to speak to a manager. I never have a good experience here.

I like that this Pharmacy has weekend hours. I have a favorite person here and she is one of the Pharmacists. Her name isRaliza. I have followed her around and she is efficient and goes the extra mile.I feel badly for all the pharmacies. They have staffing problems...not enough, no shows and are busier than most businesses I have to do with. I cut them slack when they are busy. The other day they closed early and weren't going to open til the next morning 11:30. It was inconvenient, but I wasn't upset at all. I think they do an amazing job and need our patience and understanding.

This organization and facility has to be one of the worst operations in the city of Colorado Springs. They pull the pharmacist from this store to go to other stores. Don't care how it affects the clients who use this pharmacy. I would give it a negative rating if I could.

Pharmacy was closed at 6:30 when they say open til 9. Don’t know what those of us who have vital prescriptions to pick up are supposed to do or how it’s legal to deny people their medicine. Really hoping I don’t have an asthma attack without my inhaler…

The pharmacy is completely unreliable. They either close because the pharmacist isn't feeling well or they have some other issue and constantly make it inconvenient to get your medication when you desperately need it. They are out of stock on medication that are commonly used and the staff overall is incredibly rude. They will service the window and completely ignore people that are standing in line inside even though they were first to be served. I would not recommend this wall greens at all. They never answer their telephone and overall this is the most frustrating pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I have even gone to the trouble to call corporate to complain.
