The Walgreens corporate office is apparently too busy counting their personal profits to notice their stores lack the staff and resources to remain viable. We've lived down the street from this store for 19 years and have stayed loyal to them even after a brand new CVS opened just across the street. However, they are no longer able to meet my family's needs. I returned to the store nearly 3 hours after dropping off an antibiotic prescription and it hadn't even been started. My husband had left off multiple prescriptions hours earlier and only 2 had been completed. In the past turn around times were less than an hour, even in cold and flu season. I requestEd my written prescription be returned and I'll have it filled tomorrow at the hospital where I work, delaying my starting the medication until tomorrow. The convenient location has been offset by the under resourced facility. Too bad for your employees and, now, former, customers.

Thanks to the covid crap, Walgreen, along with other pharmacies, is way under staffed. The people at the pharmacy refused to answer my call and continually put me on hold for over 35 minutes--until they disconnected me. I FINALLY got through by asking for the store manager (who I was NOT put through to) and was eventually transferred to the pharmacy when I was forced to put my sick mother on the phone because the staff member would not give me the information I needed. My mother was eventually able to speak with the actual pharmacist who did help my her. The staff need to realize that, because of my mother's illness and allergies to numerous antibiotics, calling in was my only real option without my driving back and forth from the pharmacy--driving back to report the information to my mom, because she is not able to get to the phone. If Walgreens cares about their customers, they will start paying people enough money to take a job. FJB

Kelly was awesome, kind, receptive, helpful so I thought I would share this. The Walgreens that I normally use was out of my medication so I called this location, Kelly was accommodating and kind when she filled the prescription for me. It's sad that the majority of people who comment the most are unhappy and people who are very happy with their service, don't usually comment and share that information.

I went in to Walgreens asking about a medicine for my 2 year old and the pharmacy was no help at all. I was asking for an alternative to a medicine that the wrong told me to give my child and she said I don't know what to tell you. She didn't offer anything else or offer to come out and look what he could take, nothing just a snarky comment and then I told the manager that the pharmacy is rude and snarky and he said ok and walked off, didn't ask me to explain, didn't apologize for his staff, nothing. I would give them a one and say the only reason I go to this one is because I work right next to it, but horrible customer service from the pharmacy and the manager. I have done customer service for over 10 years and it's def not like it used to be. I wouldn't go here! Avoid this one! On to the next!

So my mother and I stopped at Walgreens on North Academy and carefree this morning because they had a sign out front saying that they had Arizona ice tea is on sale for 2 for a dollar. We got inside and read that they were 99 cents. Store clerk was very rude to us and explaining that they had gone up overnight. And that she hadn't had time to take the sign down yet. This is it 11 o'clock in the morning. So we asked if she would still be willing to honor it since the sign still said it. She said that would be up to a manager and rudely got the manager. Manager was just as rude as the clerk was in explaining to us that the coupon was no longer good. She told us that she would honor one transaction when we were there to stock up on Arizona Ice T's. I spend a ton of money in business in this Walgreens, I thought I was really massed up that they were unwilling to on or something is simple is a to for a dollar coupon, And were rude to boot. We experience this on Sunday march first at 11am. Very discouraging we will be conducting our business elsewhere from now on.

3 stars for 3 visits to get all of my prescription! I picked up my prescription at the drive thru and service was fast! When I tried to take my pills, I found half a pill on top of the other pills. I counted and found that I had 26 pills and 2 pieces that didn't match. I was missing 2 pills! I drove back to the store and went back through the drive through. I told them the problem and was given the bottle and told I now had 28 pills. I went home and there were 27 pills. I tried calling, but no one answered the phone, so I drove back. I went inside, explained the problem, and got my last pill. Apparently, the lady at the drive thru had misunderstood and thought that the 2 pieces were part of one pill. I appreciate the convenience of the drive through and that they are open for 24 hours, but today was not your day to shine.
