Chopwood Mercantile is a refreshing find in the world of 'outdoor' retail based on the motto #LiveYourPassion. Based in Crested Butte, Colorado, we are taking our decades of mountain retail experience and merging it with the concept of a 'public house' along with a little bit of old-school friendly mercantile.
Owned by a really nice local couple, cool selection, really cool company logo--this is just a great place. The building is also cool. We have bought many things over the past few years, all great purchases and great quality.

Such a great local shop! I really like the curated product line because it doesn’t feel forced! You’ll find items you need for your mountain adventures plus items tourists might want to take back. The staff is friendly, and I will return every chance I get!
