“We just returned from a three night stay at Purple Mountain Bed and Breakfast. I stayed here 3 years ago and this past weekend I brought my husband for his first trip to Crested Butte. We highly recommend staying at Purple Mountain Bed and Breakfast! Our room had a great view of Mt. Crested Butte and was very clean. The owner, Chris, makes a delicious breakfast each morning and it is the perfect way to start the day! Our favorite breakfast was the blueberry pancakes. Each evening we made sure to grab a chocolate chip cookie and hot chocolate in the common area. Chris is very knowledgeable about Crested Butte and suggested great hikes for us! We also loved how Purple Mountain Bed and Breakfast is about an 11 minute walk from the downtown area and we did not have to worry about parking. We can't wait for our next trip to Crested Butte and plan to stay at Purple Mountain Bed and Breakfast again!”

“Amazing service. Little touches from the chocolate in the rooms to the chef at breakfast modifying each meal for each person. The cat pickup , mid mountain lodge, guides are all just happy and nice. The snowboard is epic . It's like baldface but not as dangerous and four seasons service.”

“Me and my friend stayed here for two nights for an elopement ( as photographers). This was such a beautiful and pleasant stay. The bed is so comfy and the sheets and comforter are so soft! The tv connects to Netflix and prime for you to log in! The room is spacious with lots of seat options! The shower was clean and comfy! The location is stellar - you can walk to some of the trails, several parks and the resort is right there with an ice cream and coffee shop! Not walkable to town, but an easy drive. They have a complimentary breakfast that had microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, burritos and even had a gluten free option. It also had bagels, cereal yogurt and juice and coffee. This place has so much character and we both felt very comfortable and safe! Parking was easy and they even had a late check in envelope waiting for us after hours! If I’m looking for accommodation again in crested butte I would absolutely stay here again!

The one improvement I would have wished was different. I wished their bath towels were a bit bigger and softer! But they did the trick!”

“This place is not fancy. If you're bougie - go to Vail. If you don't care what you're wearing when you ski and you swear alot, stay here. If you want to meet other unpretentious people, you can lounge around at elevation and bring your chill dogs and kids with you. Its too bad this place sold out to CONDOs and wont be around much longer. Tip well - the staff at the valet ( YOU CAN VENMO THEM) and the hotel work hard. Also the spa was excellent for not being a $$$$ hotel. I wish I could get the biofreeze massage everyday.”
