About The Hotel St. Nicholas
The Hotel St. Nicholas is a very enjoyable and perfect place to stay in a green old historic building with a Victorian atmosphere. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and inviting with unique decorations, and some have beautiful views. The staff are wonderful, kind, and helpful with excellent hospitality and custom service. Guests love the comfortable, buttery soft sheets. The on-site Boiler Room Tavern is an awesome and fun little place for drinks, with pool and a light food menu. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and museums. Nearby activities include a historic train ride and visiting Rita the Troll. Many guests state they will stay again.
Awesome little mountain hotel has a built in tavern and a rich history definitely recommend.

We got to tour the rooms and have a drink at the tavern with some pretzel bites and talk with the owner. Very cool place!

Charming, quiet, historic hotel! Honestly, fit the value, it was great. We spent a lot of time at the casinos but came back to a quiet room which was nice! The building is so cool and we stayed on the 3rd floor so we had a nice view of the town of Cripple Creek!
