The location has truly deteriorated since covid. I do not feel comfortable walking around the downtown area. Street people everywhere; begging, on drugs, issues that are not being resolved by the local government. My trips prior always included shopping at local stores. This trip I will be going beyond this area during my weekend stay.

This hotel is managed by buffoons. The cleaning staff took my PRESCRIPTIONS, toiletries and luggage and disposed of them because they thought I had left (I still had 3 days on my reservation). The Director of Room Operations refused to have staff look through the trash for my items. Unbelievable poor customer service and concern for my welfare. Don't stay here if you have another option.

Update: still my worst hotel stay as a dad of 9 years with regular travel!
They only initially provided parking through valet and only if we agreed to leave the car parked overnight. Room was comfortable but had a persistent chemical odor.
There was a noise complaint when both my daughters woke in the night (7mo old & 2.5yr old) wanting diaper changes and feeding. This was particularly frustrating because we got them to calm, then the A/C kicked on, startling the babies. It was quite a loud system when turning on. Certainly the loudest start up I’ve ever heard inside a hotel room. With slamming, whirring, shaking, revving as it powers up. I calmed the girls again and shortly after (when all is quiet) hotel security knocks on the door to inform us of the noise complaint; frightening the babies again. I get the girls to calm down again, after reassuring security that they “don’t need medical attention” and the A/C units startles the babies again... Good grief!!!
Then we were so stressed out about these events that it was difficult for us to sleep as well.
A delicious breakfast buffet was included with our three nights.
Walkability: Parking only available during the day.
Noteworthy details: Not family friendly.

Beautiful rooms! Huge conference center. If you have mobility issues and want to use the restaurant or bar, it’s better to stay Plaza side. If for a conference, Tower side is probably more convenient.
Restaurant staff is great and super friendly. Front desk staff were not welcoming and didn’t problem solve for a guest very professionally.
Great location to the Pedestrian Mall, Target, Walgreens and much more.

This is the worst hotel I have ever been to. I am here for work and they charge extra 25$ a night fees and they charge 50$ a night for a car I didn't even ask for I would return it right now and get shuttled to the airport I don't even care. The whole road is under construction. I get here and everyone is lost I walked outside got locked out saw another person go outside get locked out. Don't bring luggage because you have to go up the elevator go across the street up the stairs and maybe you'll find your room in the elevator because no signs are numbered you have to guess what floor you are on. The pool looks miserable. There's this attitude with the staff that no one wants to be here and it shows. This is the smallest king sized hotel room I have ever been in. They also charge you for the complimentary water. I don't want to leave my room for fear of extra fees for just walking around because everything is under construction. I am a Marriot bonvoy member and this makes me want to avoid all hotels associated. They say the fee gets you daily perks like food and beverages but it goes to a scam website full of advertisements. I have no idea what food is even served at the hotel because my phone said the QR code link is unsafe. Homeless people all over the place. Worst hotel I have ever been to.
Walkability: You will have to walk because of the expensive garage fees.

Honestly with how badly I've been taken care of here the rooms and the location is Irrelevant, I made a reservation months ago for 2 nights and when I got here they told me it got changed and they cant see a reason why, they have a date when it was changed but no notes. They charge me an additional 514$ for me to stay a second night, also there's an additional 25$ fee to stay at the Sheraton and they tell you don't worry you get 2 drinks along with that DAILY charge... I wouldn't recommend trying to cash those drinks in because there bar service was extremely rude, A tall man with glasses dark hair and dark skin approaches us with an upset tone and terrible customers service. I work at a successful restaurant in loveland and I could never treat my customers this way. I have no idea how this man could work in the service industry and get away with continuing to get payed to do so, he was terrible to us, it was not busy, dont waist your time staying here. There are hidden chargers and the people will not take care of you.

Worst place I have ever stayed. It’s utterly disorganized and the staff is incredibly rude. Two front desk staff laughed at me for having trouble getting into the building even though all the doors are locked and there’s only a tiny sign on a revolving door saying the lobby is across the street for check in. I then have to go up one elevator across a sky bridge and up another elevator to get to my room. When I go back to the front desk about this they laugh at me. Apparently the door to the building is a random door on the side. The room smells weird. They are truly horrible.
It’s also incredibly unclean. My water glass has dirt in it even the ones that are supposed to be wrapped (the wrapping is torn), there’s dirt on every one of the pillows. You want to charge me over 100 a night, things should at the very least be clean.

Subject: Concerning Stay and Request for Corrective Action sent to General Manager at Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel
Dear Mr. Dunn,
I am writing to express my concerns regarding our recent stay at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel for the 2024 NAMICon, held from June 2nd to June 6th. Our group had reserved six rooms, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet the standards we anticipated.
Upon arrival, we encountered an unprofessional and distressing situation with your parking attendant. As our sprinter van approached the drive-up area, which was not busy at the time, the attendant yelled at our driver to move immediately. Despite explaining that we had a lot of luggage and two passengers requiring assistance due to their disabilities, the attendant continued to behave rudely, causing unnecessary stress as our party of eight unloaded.
At check-in, there was significant confusion with our reservations. Although we had intentionally booked as a group on the same credit card to ensure our rooms were close together, it took approximately 30 minutes to get squared away. Our rooms were not in the same building, and when we requested to move one room to be closer to the others, we were charged an additional $200, which is unacceptable. The front desk clerk handling the situation appeared annoyed, and to avoid conflict, we decided to address it later.
Additionally, we were disappointed to find that we did not receive the benefits associated with the Destination/Resort Fee that we paid for six rooms, including the welcome bag. We were also not informed that microwaves were available upon request. Throughout our stay, my key card frequently did not work, and I had to repeatedly walk back to the hotel for assistance, which was particularly challenging due to my disability. Furthermore, there was a constant and unbearable odor of smoke in the hallway of my room. Despite multiple calls and visits to the front desk, the issue was not resolved, and the staff responded nonchalantly.
These issues highlight a lack of customer service, attention to detail, and quality assurance, which should not be at the expense of guests. We are seeking corrective action for the increase in room fee for room 2009 and reimbursement for the Destination/Resort Fee for the six rooms.
I look forward to these matters being resolved.
Kind regards,

A decent stay. Air con is quite noisy. Other than that, nothing bad to say

I recently stayed at this newly remodeled hotel and had a great experience. My room was spacious, and everything seemed clean. The hotel features a charming little shop in the back of the lobby, offering a variety of healthy snack options and other excellent products. However, my room had no view, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown.

We stayed here while we were in town for The Rolling Stones concert. While checking in staff was very nice. This is when we learned of the destination fee that they charge. This fee came with a welcome bag and other perks, but definitely not worth it…not like you have a choice though. The hotel is very big and seems really nice. However, when I went to shower there was no hot water. I let the water run for 15 minutes and it was still cold. When I called down to the desk, they sent a lady up who did the same thing. She finally said that it was a little warmer and left. I can’t imagine charging a guest that kind of money and not providing them with ample hot water. My husband and I had to take cold showers that first day. The next day wasn’t as bad, but the water never got hot.
Walkability: We walked to the Mile High Stadium. There are a lot of restaurants, shops and dispensaries within walking distance.

We had a nice stay here during a conference. The hotel was renovated and the lounge was appreciated.
Walkability: There are many restaurants and shops nearby. Denver is very walkable from this location.
Food & drinks: There is a good Yard House right in the hotels lobby.
