I just received a new card brand new account. Tried to use my card at the store for the first time and they said they needed to verify my card so I gave them all the pertinent information they needed and because I don't have a landline they won't let me activate my card. No one is willing to help me. They're not willing to take any other information other than a landline or me being at work. I don't know how that has anything to do with getting my card activated. Customer service is the worst to deal with. Now I have to wait 2 weeks for a letter to come in to be able to use my card. Not to mention already waiting the time For my card to arrive. Every customer service rep that I spoke with seems to be overseas and there's no one to help. They just continue to tell me that I need the landline. I've provided them three different phone numbers and they say they don't work. I provided them the security word that's on my account. I provided them my valid address. I provided them all the pertinent information and they still would not help me. This is absolutely the worst customer service ever. I really wish I would have never registered for this card to begin with.

Do not use Citi Bank. You can't get ANY service in person via phone. All automated. If you have a problem or question. Good Luck

Plan on being on the phone waiting for customer service to pick up. Opened an account Feb 11, 2019, it is now April 3rd, I have called three times to inquire about our debit cards so that we can access our account online. Each time I am told I will receive them in five days. Customer service has no idea why I haven't received the cards yet. I am now on the line for fourth time 19 minutes have passed. Now I have been told the cards were never ordered. Maria says she will expatiate the order and we will receive them on the 5th. Not a lot of confidence on this quote.

Looked all over and couldn't find it. Asked the person in the lobby and they didn't know. Bummed I walked all the way up there.
