“One of the most helpful places for the addict still suffering
Also, for someone wanting to volunteer- they have many opportubities and its a great way to give back. Thank you for all that you guys do”
“Killing a little time before our house was ready to check into stopped here to look around. You do have to go down stairs or a paved path. Once you are down there you have a circular path to walk on. It goes around a lake. There are several spots to look over the lake the lake has turtles and ducks to watch. On the one side of the path are holes where the prairie dogs live. You can see them on guard or digging. It was a very nice park to walk around.Restrooms: They had some port potties along the pathPicnic area: There are picnic tables along the path”
“Absolutely astonishing aid. Came home with an abundant of new clothes for my newly turned 5 year old son for the winter and we are SO thankful for this organization’s help. My kid is over the moon with all of his new gear ♥️ Thank you!”
“I just bought my first ever season tickets for anything. Joyce, who handles season tickets, made me feel like a special customer. I’m really floored that she gave such personalized attention! Thank you, Joyce! You made my day!”
“What a fantastic resource this place is, staffed by incredibly generous and skilled people.
I had quite an extensive and challenging project: building a complex wheelchair ramp and shower platform for my new apartment. The project required several difficult cuts — two side rails at precise angles and a full-length bevel rip of a 2×12 — all accurate to within 1/8”. James very generously offered his expertise, and in the end, everything was not just accurate to within 1/8”, but within 1/16”.
Before finding this place, we were completely stuck. The project required professional-grade tools and skill — a band saw, planer, and circular saw — but no contractor was willing to take it on, and the cuts were far too complex for a big-box store or for us to handle alone. Not only that but we urgently needed the ramp completed so I could safely take a shower. Once we found the Denver Tool Library, though, the work was completed in just a few hours and saved us hundreds of dollars.
I can’t say enough how grateful I am that a place like this exists — and to James and everyone here, thank you so much!”
“I got my Doberman neutered here, they were all super kind right away. They did a just fine job with his surgery but also filed his nails and looked at some other stuff he had going with his skin and said to bring him back for it when he heals from his neuter. It was a very good experience. There was a lot going on and they were all calm and collected which made for an easier time for the pups.”
“I am so happy I found this bike shop in my area. Everyone there was super courteous and knowledgeable. Collin helped me Identify something in my bike that could have led to something bad happening when riding and got my bike serviced and prepared for me faster than expected. Thank you to the kind people that work there and want to share their knowledge with you so you can then work on your own bikes as well! They are about helping and uplifting the community which is great to see these days.”
“Although not the nicest USO I’ve been too, they have a good location that is well away from the hustle and bustle, which is what I desire from these services. There are plenty of comfortable seats of differing design, giving you an option to choose your preferred style. The bathrooms are very clean and inviting. They have a small kitchen that serves hotdogs and has other snacks. There is a coffee station. Essentially the amenities I’ve come to expect from an airport USO, they offer it. Thanks for the secluded and welcoming environment. These amenities are very helpful to the traveling military and veteran community.”
“I visited this place in the afternoon, it was legal night. The attention, kindness and especially availability to serve people was adequate. Very well organized.”
“Today was a very good day. I reached out to dress for success. Ms Amara got back to me by email and scheduled an appointment. I was able to get some clothing for employment searching. They help rebuild some confidence with the elevator speech, interview tips ect. Anyone in need of the support reach out to them schedule your appointments. Everyone was so amazing and supportive on my visit. Thank you ladies!!!”

“When my daughter needed surgery, we stayed here. Not all people who worked or volunteered here were friendly, but they were very helpful and kind. I'm very grateful that they helped my family, and I will never forget their kindness. They have a wonderful setup, and it was definitely a home away from home. Mostly, I was only there at night while my hubby and Son were there all the time because I was with my daughter during the daytime. What I saw of the place was very nice and clean. I would recommend that family and friends try to stay there if, God forbid, their children are in need of medical attention.”

“My kiddo has such a creative mind and she loves coming to art classes here. We’ve had positive experiences every time and appreciate the effort that goes into organizing these wonderful experiences for youth!”
“I can’t say enough good things about this organization. If you have dietary restrictions due to a medical issue and a doctor to sign off on the referral form, they are very helpful. It makes it so much easier to stick to your diet, particularly when others near you are eating something you can’t or shouldn’t eat. Having healthy, frozen meals brought to your door each week is a huge benefit. Not only is it free and convenient, it also provides some variety.”
“This group of people that I rock climbed w/ were extremely informative, caring, friendly, & professional. Highly recommend visiting one of their numerous classes!!!Thank you so much! ?”
“I loved my experience with HeyDenver! Everyone was so kind and open to all questions. And the consent form is affirming, trauma-informed and inclusive. I tested with a pop up at another event and this was also so great! A fabulous way to destigmatize testing and gather people who also love to be in community supporting one another!”
“This place is an amazing non-profit that helps so many women in our community. They have a beautiful gift shop/store in this building that is open to the public. The woman who works there is very professional, friendly, and helpful.Their products are a little on the expensive side for my budget - as I live on a fixed income.I tell you what - if I had more disposable income I would support them a lot more than I have. They have beautiful gift boxes that would be an ideal purchase for small businesses, and corporations to give to their clients! Please stop in and say hi to them! You will not be disappointed!”
“This was an incredibly impactful exhibit and every American should be educated and take part in it. It’s extremely educating and really makes you think what kind of country you want America to be going forward. Highly recommend.”
“It's a great place to hold your events. Linda and her crew of 12 an amazing job of getting everything put together so your events run as seamlessly as possible”
“A good place to start for seniors looking for assistance with food insecurity needs, clothing, housing, and other referrals. (Must be 60or over to use the facilities).”

“I adopted my cat from PawsCo and couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. What really stands out about this rescue is their dedication to helping animals with medical needs that many other rescues won’t even consider. They truly focus on the pets who need it the most, giving them a second chance at life. It’s a testament to the incredible volunteers and fosters at PawsCo, whose love and compassion shine through in everything they do. I’m so thankful for the work they put into saving the most vulnerable animals!”
“I really appreciate the help with the food boxes it helps my limited income stretch out. The only problem I had is the door dash person left the box at the door of the apartment building. I went to go pick it up not knowing how heavy it was. I blew out the muscles in my lower back I guess that's my problem too but I tend to believe I can do what I did when I was 20 and 30 at age 61 and that is definitely not the case as I found out today. Thank you again for the food boxes.”
“This place is super cute! The farm was full of happy youths tending to animals and helping out in the farm spaces. I went with a friend and her kids. It gives you a nice selection for smaller kids to roam around without being too long. Baby goats are extra friendly.”
“The self guided tour was very well structured. Two docents were also available to answer questions and provide additional information. There was a lot more to the real Margaret Brown as compared to the Molly Brown film. The house has been restored to its early 20th Century appearance. We spent almost two hours on the tour---we could have spent even more time.”
“Great venue super geared towards all age shows and anything but mainstream music. Easy to find. Peeps that work there could be a little more friendly or at least 'present' but maybe that's not punk rock?!”
“I don't know where I would be if it weren't for the crossing. Me and my two boys had our own room 3 meals a day. I met wonderful people that I'm still friends with to this day. I was in a two-year program but was able to move out in a year. Thank you Denver Rescue Mission.”

“In 2020, I graduated from the Providence House. The Providence Network program helped me to come into a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I am forever grateful and thankful! I was an alcoholic, and in my drug addiction for 30+ years along with many other issues. When I came into the program, I was self-centered, insecure, and fearful of the change that was about to happen or not happen. I learned a lot about myself and others knowing that we all have something in common and that we all have issues whether it has something to do with our upbringing and/or our own bad choices, there is HOPE! Providence Network is truly a gift from God and without the love and support of the many staff members and residents, my transformation could not have been possible. I have learned so many valuable ways to persevere, overcome, change my way of thinking and move forward in my new life that God has given to me. I have been redeemed! I now give back to our community in a few different ways. Thank you, God for our Providence Network program and support team! Working together to serve one-another!”
“This is the workhorse of Denver's community outreach. While they don't offer case workers to connect you to outside resources, they focus their energy of serving the immediate needs for things as meals, safe space, mail, addresses for use in establishing residence, hygiene products, art supplies, showers, and so forth. Always full of helpful and patient volunteers with a strong security and safety officer named Dee who, from what I've seen, always is able to deescalate situations while keeping both staff and customers safe. This is an amazing place.”
“Love the artwork here. I've been photographing cars with the building as a backdrop for years. Always appreciated the building as a canvas. The owner is also very nice and I remember when detour used to paint absolutely amazing art on the side.”
