“When a family member volunteered to be my kidney donor, I felt a strong responsibility to thoroughly research Denver’s transplant hospitals. While I’m confident that any of the facilities would have provided excellent care, Porter Adventist Hospital stood out as the best fit for my needs. Now, nearly six months after my surgery, I’d like to share my experience. 1. Quality of Care From surgeons and physicians to nurses and pharmacists, every member of the Porter team delivered exceptional medical care. Their professionalism, compassion, and attentiveness made a significant difference in my recovery. While I was in the hospital, the transplant team met with me at least once a day to assess my progress and answer my questions. 2. Staff Interactions The nursing staff was consistently attentive, caring, and responsive. Their warm demeanor and prompt assistance made me feel at ease. The surgeons and physicians listened carefully to my concerns and provided quick, effective responses. The pharmacy team went above and beyond—answering my medication questions and even helping resolve insurance issues. 3. Facility Cleanliness The hospital was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Housekeeping staff, much like the nursing team, greeted me by name and even wished me luck before my surgery. Their friendliness and attention to detail helped create a truly welcoming environment. 4. Communication The medical team kept me fully informed about my treatment plan and progress. They patiently answered my questions and used humor when appropriate, which helped ease my anxiety. I also appreciated the convenience of the online portal and telehealth visits for follow-up care. In Closing Thank you to the entire Porter Adventist Hospital team for the outstanding care and support you provided during my stay and afterwards. “My son and I have been seeing this doctor since 2021. He is always nice and kind. The staff in the office is very nice as well. We really like Dr. Khoi as our family doctor because he always takes good care of us. What I appreciate most is that he personally performs the blood tests and check-ups, which makes the office feel very warm and welcoming. He may not be the most elegant, but what he lacks in elegance, he makes up for in human warmth. That is the most important thing for us. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone or any family who prefers a more traditional and personal approach to medical care. He is an excellent doctor, and we hope to continue receiving his care for a long time.”

“The staff was super friendly when I came in. I was able to download and pre-fill all the forms from the website so I wasn't scribbling things in before my appt. I was in the room before my scheduled time, and Lori was in within a reasonable 5 minutes of waiting. She made sure to check twice, once at the beginning, and once at the end, to make sure I didn't have any questions, or anything else she needed to address. I felt like she got a complete picture of my lifestyle, family history, and that she genuinely cared that I walked away with my questions answered, and feeling good about the resolution. Offered me two options, one with meds, one without, and let me choose what felt right. I would absolutely recommend this office without hesitation. Message system during off hours is a little weird, but just call when they're open and Ang was great to schedule appts with.”

“Totally worth it! I started as a patient of Dr. Kennedy long before she went to the Signature Healthcare program, which is a yearly paid amount to keep the patient levels reasonable so she can spend enough time with each patient. I have been seeing her for over 15 years. I watched her practice grow substantially, and the wait to get in became longer, and appt. time became shorter. She was very upset about this and wanted to spend as much attention on a patient as they needed. Once she offered the program, I absolutely signed up. For me, it's worth it. She is the best doctor I have ever had and really listens and cares about her patients. Her referrals have been excellent, and my health has improved overall mentally and physically throughout the years. I love the staff. They are stable, kind, and experienced. I have recommended her to many of my friends, and a lot of them now see her or saw her in the past prior to moving out of the state. She always does continuing education and is open to learning from her patients and others in the medical field. I know the Signature program cannot be for everyone, but if you can do it, it is the best way to handle health moving forward since healthcare in the US can truly be terrible. Doctors cannot handle the patient load, and practices have a hard time keeping up with the amount of paperwork insurance companies require. This program helps eliminate that. I will always continue to see her as long as we live here and recommend her highly to anyone and everyone. They also offer help with Dysport for headaches if needed and women's care. I hope this helps anyone out there needing a great doctor.”
