I'm relatively new to First Bank, I have accounts at other banks and credit unions. But these 4 bad ratings do not indicate everyone's experience at this location. I've had nice helpful people with several accounts, and if they're new, they get help!

I now plan to leave this bank as soon as possible (October). The $300 reward for joining was not worth it. The outside ATM as failed to work properly when attempting to deposit back the $20 bill I got from their teller earlier in the week. As an 81 year old who takes a bus in 88 degree heat to get there, (the 7/11 ATM that is in their system only does withdrawals, no deposits) this doesn't work for me. I actually called before going, because of past bad experiences with this quixotic ATM and after the operator checked 2 different departments to check on whether it was working, whether it was accepting deposits, and whether it was taking cash, I took a chance and went there, caught the bus, crossed the intersection of Hampden and Yosemite, and trekked to the ATM, located way across their parking lot, which is never full, and got the rejection notice from the machine.The operator when I got home and complained to, excused it all by saying if no one reports it, how are they supposed to know? I agree, and will be so happy in October when it is no longer my problem. I will just get used to hanging on for an operator with a new bank, and feel Gratitude. Ciao 1st Bank

I called and claimed a fraudulent charge of $543 on 2/28. I was told I would get my money back within 7-10 days. I called again on 3/10 for an update on my claim since I hadn't received the money back yet. I was told my claim hasn't even been investigated yet and that it takes 7-10 days to even START the investigation. So I was given two different versions of information. I just want my money back!!! This is a lot of money to me!

State tax check DISAPPEARED! I never got my money!!!! I deposited check AT THE TELLER, and they lost it, with ZERO resolve. They LOST MY MONEY!!! I NEVER GOT MY MONEY BACK. This is completely wrong, they stole my money. Their ATMs are always broken. Their ATMs miscount money.

Heiven is a great person, felt uneasy about my experience with John and sholeh however. I like the branch and often don't feel this way coming here. Tread lightly!

All the employees are always mad and angry! If you don’t love what you do, go and look for another job if you don’t care about customer service. Terrible service! Useless staff.

Went today as a new customer to open a new account. The first lady talked to me claimed that there is no one who can help me & I have to go to another branch. How can I deal with a bank they don’t have professional bankers who can help.I will definitely go to another branch but not firstbank branch.

Unable to get certified check due to Indigenous Peoples holiday. Electronically deposited check on Sunday in order to get cashier's check on Monday. On Monday, online balance still did not reflect deposit, so went to branch on Tuesday and they still had my money locked! Terrible interaction with teller with a smirk on his face and 'I can't do anything about that' coming out of his mouth. Why not provide a professional explanation of why I can't have my money? So close to closing my accounts. Sup lady behind the desk didn't even have decency to come explain since the teller couldn't.

Lan was super helpful and prompt. Two older ladies that work there need to be retrained. Shanol or something like that had an issue with just issuing me a temporary card even though I called the branch in advance and she asked me to come back when there was a supervisor available. I came back 10 mins later, spoke to Lan briefly and he was able to resolve it quickly. If she couldn't handle the issue, she should have just said so instead of just standing there looking like a deer in the headlights like I was the first person in the history of forever to ever need a temporary card.
