The Shop at MATTER is an independent, Black- and woman-owned design consultancy, letterpress workshop, and bookstore. It is a carefully curated absolute gem and an awesome bookstore and letterpress, described as having a very cool and dynamic aesthetic. It serves as a full-service, majority Black-owned bookstore with a great selection of books and non-book items, featuring titles from all over the world. The knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly staff provide excellent interactions. Visitors find it a place for acknowledgment, love, conversations, tools, and books to transform minds and hearts, encouraging everyone to visit.
Really great bookstore, I was able to finally check it out after a long time. If I lived closer I’d visit all the time.
